So I'm bored and need to know the answer to this question: is X going to get a Mark Davis bowl cut before making da Raiduhs round 1 pick? I don't expect much, just photographic evidence...

  • Mark: Your noting Tree is a "run-around-the-blocker type" is right on and worries me. Any big AND fast run stuffing MLB's in the draft this year?

  • JT: There is this fellow named Reggie Ragland out of Alabama. And down the draft a little bit, I still think Mizzou's Kentrell Brothers could be an effective 2-down linebacker despite his lack of great 40 times at the combine.

I just finished "Re-Stacking" My Board, post combine, So I'm ready to " Kick Butt in this years ROD Draft!!
I'll Flip 1st rounds with just about anyone for a additional 2nd rounder. I have Philly, and No 2nd round pick!

It's such a good defensive draft this year and that's where the Rams excel. It's a shame there aren't any good QBs or WRs available in free agency for the Rams to sign which would allow them to pick defense in this draft. Who knows, they might anyway.
Since I'm picking for the Saints this year, it looks good, The Saints have a lot of needs, so I would be open to trading down for an extra pick or two.

Defensive wise the draft is tasty, and as I've got the Bears this year, I'll be focussing heavily on Punters and Kickers for the first few rounds ;)

The Kansas City Chiefs will have two draft picks, including a third-round pick this year, taken from them after the NFL determined that they violated the league's anti-tampering rules in 2015 when allegedly making direct contact with free agent-to-be Jeremy Maclin.

Maclin was still under contract with the Philadelphia Eagles at the time, during the league's pre-free agency "negotiating period" — often called the "legal tampering" period — last offseason. Teams are not allowed to have direct contact with prospective free agents, only their representatives, until the start of the new league year.

[NFL free agency starts Wednesday. Here are Shutdown Corner's free-agent rankings for offensive players and for defensive players and specialists. Here arethe top needs for all 32 NFL teams.]

The Chiefs are slated to lose the 91st overall pick in this year's draft, as well as as sixth-rounder in 2017. Fines also were assessed — a team fine of $250,000, with head coach Andy Reid fined $75,000 and general manager John Dorsey fined $25,000.

The team reportedly plans to appeal the league's decision, and it has five days in which to notify the league of that.

Allen, are you going to make all of these Pick Changes ( do to Trades by Teams like the Eagles/ League action etc.) on the Rod Draft Board prior to the ROD Draft, or will that be up to the GM's!?

DaveFan'51 wondering if I'll keep the mock up to date:

I'll be making ALL changes myself. Though I welcome close scrutiny from everyone just in case I screw up and miss one. As I mentioned in an earlier post, NO changes/updates will be made by anyone except myself. The only thing I require from GMs will be a notification to the next GM that he's on the clock after they make a pick.
