Okay I looked it up. It sounds a bit different than what you worded.

If your league uses a three-week playoff setting, playoff reseeding will adjust the second round matchups so the highest seeded team will play the lowest ranked team. Playoff reseeding will occur when there is an upset in the first round of the playoffs.

If you work this out (1 & 2 teams would have first round byes...) then whoever would win the 3 and 6 game would set the remainder of the playoffs. If 6 wins....they play #1. If 3 wins then they would play the #2. And then it wouldn't matter who would win the 4/5 game because the other game would set the matchups.

Well. I understand what Rhody is saying. So it's up to you on whether we should allow the standings to set up priority (a last place team would get "first dibs" on the first choice of waiver wire...) and if they remained last place the following week they would have "first dibs" again unless they moved past another team in the standings.

Now Rhody is asking should that selection be noted and then once all of the waiver selections have been placed and granted, then teams not selecting anyone would move to top of list (based on standings) and then based on which selections had priority (who had been granted which selection if multiple teams had put waivers on them...). And then multiples selections would put teams toward the bottom. But the settings has a choice for this. (a kind of you were served first last time, now you need to let someone else have a choice before you can....).

the rolling type waiver is the same as we use in our baseball league @bomebadeeda

basically if you have 1st waiver rights and you get the player you put in for, then you move down to the 12th spot and everyone moves up in order 1 slot. I just think it is the fairer (more fair) way to do it.

It doesnt go by who puts the waiver in first chronologically, which I have been in leagues ( a long time ago) that did it that way,and it sucks

So, Weekly Rolling List Based On Standings? Is that the selection?

My vote is standings then rolling so you get the first choice if you suck but then go to the back of the list.
 
Do i look over a region best for my location or just wait for an invite?

I understand. The waiver wire in the NFL always gives the advantage to the teams w/ the worse record. But since games are only played once a week it doesn't really hurt to reset every week. Baseball on the other hand doesn't have that much time to prepare and a rolling list would be the only fair way. But I can do it either way.

I think we're getting close to discussing.... (or just plain cussin'......:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:) this. I wouldn't be surprised to see invites or instructions go out soon.

just wondering is there going to be a thread for who is in what league, do we wait for league invites? you are doing an awesome job trying to sort this all out.
