With the new extra point rules, pushing it back the Bucs thought a short range specialist would give them an edge. Aguayo was just that in college.

say what you will about some of Sneads mistakes but at least he didn't trade up into the 2nd to draft a kicker... who sucks

not shocking....dude wasn't that good from distance....and pro goal posts are narrower....so...I'd say this was almost a fireable offense...for the GM....taking a kicker in the 2nd is worse than drafting a slot receiver in the top 10.

Oh, I'm serious too...

And Lovie is coaching in college....sheesh
 
Never draft a kicker or punter until after 5 rounds. The Jags drafted a punter over Russell Wilson and the Rams signed Hekker as a UDFA in the same draft. The GSOT Rams rarely even used a punter and the Spags Rams never needed a kicker.
 
Hopefully Coons asks for his immediate release. Hekker could probably out punt Coons with his left leg...;)
