Been a Jeopardy fan for years and have gotten to the second level of qualifying several times.

Sad to see the legend pass away

Yes..spent many an early evening watching Jeopardy with my parents. He lived to 80 years old, so that’s pretty good...

This one hurts. There is no jeopardy without the smiling and quick witted Alex Trebek. Who is someone I haven't said goodbye to and hasn't been in my kitchen?

Did you guys see his goodbye message on ABC tonight? Man, that got me choked up. What a tough and inspiring person he was all the way until the end. I'll never go out with such dignity. I'm to much of a whiny baby.
When they portray Warriors in movies, they are seemingly bulletproof, fearless and a bit crazy.
Alex Trebek was a true Warrior of the most real kind. He stared down the death sentence of P.C. and said, come and get me, I'm not afraid of you.
RIP Alex, Warrior until the end

Only if he was wearing a Rams Hat and Jersey O and winning. The show 10 times was a must.

Btw saw in his tribute last broadcast of him hosting will be Christmas day, not 100 percent, but I think I heard.

RIP Alex

@Dz1 heard they have 35 more episodes to air. As a tribute they should rename the show so that Trebek could be the last host as a tribute to the legend.

The media has looked at a list of potential new hosts: Laura Coates, LeVar Burton, Ernie Johnson (would prefer SVP if they stay within the GO network). I think LeVar would be the best of the bunch as many of us grew up with him through Reading Rainbow and Star Trek: TNG, and he's a hometown hero.

True on recorded episodes..will air until Christmas

Let's not forget that Ken Jennings was brought in as an executive producer and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he fills in until a new host is announced, or he takes over permanently

I’ll take “Heaven is a better place for 1,000 Alex”
