We gotta improve on that. For those who are in "rooting for best possible Draft Pick mode" you're rooting for New England, NY Giants, Chicago, Carolina and Arizona. There are also a plethora of teams virtually tied or close with us, Denver, Tennessee etc.

We HAVE TO land either our next Franchise Quarterback OR Franchise Left Tackle.

The Greater Good folks.....

I got to be honest at this point. I’m ready to acquire the highest possible draft pick we can.

Alt/fashanu
Maye/Williams
Marvin Harrison Jr
Latu

One of those 6 please…
I really think if the Rams are that high, QB is the must pick. Go get your LT in round two. Again, Williams will be gone, but Maye could be there along with my choice J.J. McCarthy.

Maye and Williams are going no 1/2, order TBC. Harrison Jr is going no 3. None of the teams in those slots will trade out because those are transcendent players in my view.

If Alt and Fash are both gone when we pick, I'm trading back.

Orlando Pace bruh.... You were never getting Big O or Walter Jones outside the Top 6 draft picks, let alone in the 2nd round.

I'd shop the pick to see what I could get.... if there was nothing great offered.. I'd go with the best LT.
In the 2nd.. I'd fight to trade back.

The good news is it looks like they will get some late round comp picks.. the bad news is it seems less likely they'll get a third rounder for Raheem.

I wouldn't overdo it on the trade downs... but I want at least 4 picks in the top 100.. preferably 5.

At the time, Rams thought they had their QB when they drafted Pace, they don't now. Also I don't see an Orlando Pace or Walter Jones talent in the 2024 draft that that includes Joe Alt.

Yeah, unless Stafford misses more games, Giants may not win another game all year. Carolina is also terrible. Cards likely improve with Murray back. Chicago could certainly win a few more with Fields back. NE is bad, but could win a few games. Everyone else we are tied with are about the same as us. Gonna be a dogfight in the top 10. There is 3 legit franchise blue chip guys at the top and then I'm not all that versed on the OT's, but, the defense is lacking at the top, thats for sure.

Yeah, if we are set on taking a OT, I'm trading down and grabbing Fuaga from Oregon State. Not sure where he will be mocked to, but guessing outside top 10. Wondering if one of these edges steps up at end of the year and vaults themselves into top 10 locks (Turner, Verse, Latu). Turner played pretty well this weekend against LSU.

Go QB all the way. Could even see the Rams packaging their 2025 first rounder to move up. Maye would be my choice.

Maye will be the better pro in my mind. Agree with moving up for the future regardless where we are picking.

Nah, we only get so many games a season, I’ll NEVER root for my team to lose.

Ill worry about the draft when the draft comes....

I’m rooting for the Rams to run the table, but let’s be real…

The Rams put up 3 points against a two win team.

At least draft talk is more fun to talk about than the current Rams.

I'm in the trading down camp if there isn't a franchise QB. We need another draft like this last one if we want to be contenders again and that means we need quantity not just quality

I'd have no problem with Marvin Harrison Jr as a top 3 pick by us if we draft that high. A rookie QB's best case for development is having a dominate WR. Harrison is the best WR prospect to come out since Megatron. Have him play with Stafford for 1-2 years then draft a QB who's got an easy button to spam for his first few years in the league.

See also: Burrow, Joe. Mahomes, Patrick. Hurts, Jalen. Tagovailoa, Tua. All have/had dominate WRs at the beginning of their careers.

I disagree. I think this draft needs to be about Quality. This is the year that Snead needs to show us his skill of trading up, not down. FA is going to have to play a huge factor if we want to make a SB run next season. We have the cap and a #1 pick for a change. We have to pounce. They have been pretty good at picking up contributors in later rounds but we now need STUDS that are almost always found in the early picks.

Assuming Stafford is ready to go after the bye and stays healthy, we might pull off some upsets down the stretch, and have two games we "should win" (but both are on the road, @NYG and @Arizona - I'd put the Rams about on par with Washington). It will be interesting to see where our 1st rounder ends up. Quite a range of possible outcomes still. Without Stafford we likely lose out or come close to it. Maybe we could beat the Giants even without #9 given their equally sad QB situation now that Jones and Tyrod Taylor are both out longer term.

My gut says we end up in the low teens. We might have to wait for that QB replacement and throw darts at a later round backup QB prospect. A starting LT is a must, a starting CB is up there too. Maybe Young cools the need for a stud EDGE if he keeps developing but we need depth there too. And surely, we can improve our LB situation in some fashion.
