I can’t believe how far we’ve come. This morning, I came across an article on the front cover of ESPN:

“Realistic 2019 goals for the NFL’s worst teams”

I didn’t click on it because I know the rams are not going to be one of those teams. How incredible is that for a team that used to have me worrying about punt returns for fear of muffing it (pre-Amendola)?

After what we went through, I’m so grateful to be where we are today, with a stable team and building an actual program. Don’t take this for granted, fellas.

Yeah it's amazing. We have the team but also the coaching and the front office to hold it all together. It's miraculous. This is the type of setup we never have had as Rams fans. Ever. I used to watch the whiners with envy and disgust but we are that team now with all that and the culture.

I'll never tire of it or take it for granted. And nice post Dukey!

We also have the youngest HC in the NFL, one of the younger GM's, the youngest veteran starting QB, and are soon to christen the newest and most spectacular football stadium on the continent.
This is just the beginning of a brand new era, and we now have recent Super Bowl experience to go along with it.

You got that right. Seriously. Potentially the beginning of a long run. Enjoy it.

Potentially? Unless someone fucks this up it's going to be a great ride.

I'm still surprised when we get a first down lol

Remember back during the days of The Show when it was 3rd and 14 and you'd think "Kurt's got this, we're good".

I'm only 25 so I sadly only know the very end of it. But I've seen enough (retrospect) games to know what you mean. I felt that way sometimes last year.

I still can't get used to hearing conversations around me talking about games involving the Rams and hearing, "Oooh that'll be a good one."

I can remember when they would be pinned inside the ten on a punt and you knew 1st down was going down the seam to the 40. Good times.
