Anymore...

I feel like all of these zebras are the enemy.

Even when the replay shows exactly what happened on the field in High Definition... these fuckers simply ignore it and make whatever call they want.

It's unreal.

I trust the Ref's only slightly more than I do Bill Belicheat!!;)

What do you know about him!? I know nothing about him!

Nothing, except I watch a lot of NFL.
He doesn't fuck up, and he makes quick calls - no time wasting.

(and Selassie's just being a hater).

Gene Steratore is one of the better Officials in the NFL when your team gets better your not as mad, the Woods call last week was a touchdown, but they come back and on the next play hit Kupp for six and all of us are not as mad.

All you can ask for is a clean game with fair calls, I'm worried that the Seahawks will take some cheap shots and if the Rams retaliate the flag will go against us.

I havent come up with a new name for him, so he must be pretty fair. If that is even possible as an NFL official. I think he has done a few Rams-shecocks games and shecocks fans may not think he is as fair as I do.

Every fan of every team thinks that all refs are unfair to their team...It's the nature of the beast...

Some interesting facts about Steratore:
  • He has consistently called less penalties per game than the NFL average. This may help us, or it may hurt us. If he lets DBs get away with overly physical play, that will benefit Seattle.
  • From 2012 to 2016 (Fisher era), the Rams went 3-3 in the games he refereed. All our losses were close games (14-9 Seattle, 17-14 Miami, and 14-10 Miami). I don't recall any of those games being lost due to the reffing. He also reffed the 52-0 blowout against Oakland a few years ago.
  • From 2012 to 2016, Seattle went 5-2 in the games he refereed. I wouldn't buy too much into this because Seattle has been a consistently strong team, and the only win of theirs that stands out is the win over New England last year. He also reffed their playoff loss to the Falcons last year.
  • This year, the home team is 4-0 in the games he reffed.
I think we'll see a game that is fairly enough called. This isn't a ref like Vinodouche (we're 0-6 in the games he's called since 2012) or Tripleshit (2-5 from 2012 to 2016).
