I thought maybe this was Reggie Bush before he sued the city of St. Louis...

That was Gus Frerrotte's grandfather. True story.

About 8;30 tonight ,

I didn't take this photo , but we were outside watching as it came through , this photo was taken just south of town a few miles , I think the temp dropped 20 degrees when it passed over head

I live about 5 minutes from the beach here on the Gulf in SWFL. Ft. Myers and Naples are both well known but the views from the middle of the area, Bonita Springs, are the best IMO. You can see the curve of the land/water and on clear days can see for miles and miles in each direction.I have dozens of pics of sunsets and this is among my favorites.

A little tip if you are ever on a beach for a sunset. Everyone applauds and leaves right after the sun drops down under the horizon. Don't do that, stay for awhile. Sometimes, not always but sometimes you get rewarded with spectacular views as the sun backlights the sky. I have some pics of that........very pretty.

This one makes you feel the Deathstar is approaching, or something out of an Independence day movie. Yikes!

You just dont get a good feeling for the awesome power of nature when you live in the Appalachian mountains. This thing is quite a site on camera. I could only imagine seeing it coming.

Also, in 2007 at OU there was an ice storm that shut down Norman and much of Oklahoma. Here's a pic outside my dorm building.
I was in that ice storm (but up here around Tulsa.....) It was the most breathtaking and surreal thing you'll ever see..... So absolutely quiet.......and then there's an enormous crack and another tree splits in half. But it was beautiful in it's own wierd way. I spent half a day knocking branches off my electric line, so once they restored power, We'd have it, instead of those poor souls, who then had to get an electrician out first, before they even go a chance. Great picture.

@RamzFanz reached out to him by text recently. He's okay physically. Which is good to hear. I miss that guy.

But, relocation has set him back with the NFL, at least for now.

Today I was thinking about the guys we "lost" and if anyone here had reached out to them.

I wonder if we will see Alan again.
