I took these inside a church in Tlacotalpan Mexico last week. The church was built in 1500.

Once a year since 1500 they march that statue of Mary around the town to every home... they even take it back and forth across the big fast moving river that the town is built on.

Quite the accomplishment with Columbus sailing to the "New World" in 1492!

Very cool. I love this kind of stuff. One of the coolest places I went when I was in NY was the chapel at West Point.

The ornate stained glass windows and organ were beyond cool. They also had a place where all the deans of the school scribed their signatures on pure silver plates.

When you get a chance to see how they built and decorated these historic places, you just have to check them out.

I love this stuff.

this is the Church I grew up going to and was there for a Christening last year

I hate you lol. Been trying to flip them back upside down now but my brain just won't do it!
Oh dont worry. Look away for an hour or so and make sure you dont look at the correct one and they will in fact be upside down again.
