IOWA Abandoned Places

stumbled across this Facebook page full of photos of old abandoned places in Iowa

although I'm sure all states have them ,
smileys with beer


but I've always been fascinated with old abandoned buildings and stuff , there is just something about the old ,quite , decaying of an old structure , I find very artistic

this web page has some pretty awesome pictures

it's really y amazing just how many old rural one room school houses still remain , there are still a few in my area alone , most of which are now just old storage buildings for some farmer

same with old small rural country churches just sitting out in a field somewhere

most of these photo's are beautiful , but some are a little creepy

Check out this picture. My wife snapped it on her morning walk last week.

She took it pano… but that’s it. No filters. No light correction. I’m shocked she knew how to take pano, to be honest.

I live near here and even I am amazed by the beauty of this one;
