I was there for a bit many years ago. I quoted somebody's post that had a curse word in it...and i was subsequently banned. I was so upset.

As a side note, I sold my Harley and bought a sport bike. My kids are pretty sure I'm going to kill myself on it but I'm thinking that's a better way to go than dying of cancer in some hospital bed like my two brothers have done. I'm a Rams optimist. I always think they are going to be good and even if they suck I always think they are better than they really are. I have had Directv since I ever heard of such a thing so I can get the NFL package and watch every game. Some seasons, that has been tough, but there I sit, watching them lose. I check in on various forums but rarely sign up. People online tend to be vicious towards each other so I avoid joining. I often wonder if they treat people like that face to face. Unlikely. So, hello. Don't know how much I'll post, but hello anyway.

Was born in a ram jacket - first images of me ever taken. Went to all the games at Anaheim stadium as a kid. Saw lots of great games. Hated Georgia and Shaw with a passion.
By the way, it has yet to be determined whether or not Kurt Warner or Nolan Cromwell is my read dad.
I'm 42 year old former punk rocker who now lives on a ranch just outside of Austin Texas where I breed longhorns, sit by the pool, and drink lots of beer - preferably Austin Beerworks Fire Eagle IPA.
I'm still an artist but instead of starving a now make lots of money with all the things my parents told me would end me up in jail - so thank GOD for being so patient with me
Have the best wife of all time - still super hot and getting hotter - and two really outstanding kids who I home school and help clue in to bands like Stereolab and the Clash

I love the Rams and bleed blue and gold

Hi my name is Dan and I've been a member of the stltoday rams forum for a while but the bigotry and hate have gotten out of hand. Im from the stlouis area and have been a rams fan since they moved here, im too young to remember the cardinals so the rams are first and only team. I find myself getting deeper and deeper into this team every year. Anyways I thought it was time to join this forum.

Perhaps less than zero if the "Some trolls are P-D employees there to increase hit counts by baiting flamewars" theory is true.
 
Welcome Athos! Like it has been chronicled on this thread a few times, Rams Talk serves two main purposes on the internet 1) to drive people to this site 2) to show us what not to do. That whole site is so awful that even one of its writers, Bernie, has been banned here. Enjoy!
 

Darn. Had Dieter the Brock for 3 years on Rams Talk, trying to find an alternative - I still don't see how anyone has "Robert the Delpino"

Hello fellow Rams fans! My name is Dave and I've been a member here for a while, but am now planning on becoming much more active because of the cesspool that the Post Rams forum has become over the past few years. I cannot stand bigots or internet trolls and it's quite clear that website is filled with them. I'm done over there.

I'm 49 years old and have two daughters and live in Chicago. I'm a television Director and work at the Big Ten Network. I've been a Rams fan since they migrated to St. Louis from LA. Been a Cards and Blues fan all of my life, so I know how a great franchise is run and how a bad one is run. I'm becoming more excited about this Rams team with each draft that Les Snead and Jeff Fisher have been involved in. We are building an incredible defense and I think that is the way you win championships. Hope to get to know all of you better in the coming years ahead! Peace.

Welcome to ROD, Dave. No site is perfect including this one(okay we actually are :)) but I guarantee you we deal quickly and harshly with "cesspoolians." But having been here for awhile you already know that. Looking forward to your insights on the Rams and the other topics we cover here.
