Allow myself to introduce myself!

I've heard your song before ... last time you sang it like this ...

Please allow me to introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul to waste
And I was 'round when Kurt Warner
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that Jeff Fish
Washed his hands and sealed his fate
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game

I'm new here ... some of you will soon recognize me. I'm a Rams fan and was a season ticket holder in St. Louis. I have no ill will that the team moved to Los Angeles. I'm still a fan, and wish the Rams 15 regular season victories.. I also have a favorite AFC team. Nuff said.

I think Goff will get better and will be able to carry the team on his shoulders.... something that he hasn't done yet.

Donald>Mack nuff said
Sounds familiar... Welcome!

For which there are no explanations, if you'e being pedantic about it.

"is no explanation" works as well as "are no explanations" if one assumes that "a few" is meant to reference each person individually. (I'm bored today).

'Course, I speak American english, so there's that....:rolllaugh::rolllaugh:

BTW Scots, I've been told that my last name (Purvis), is Scottish, and was/became an anglicized version of the french Purveios.
Is Purvis rare or common in Scotland - I have met two other Purvises in my lifetime.

Sliante - (stayed with a friend in Glasgow for a few days in the 80's).

I know a few Purvises but it's not especially common. It's mostly Mac's and Mc's really. There's an Olympic medal winning Scottish gymnast by the name of Purvis I think although he may be English now I think about it...

I am visiting Vegas for a few days in late August - what should I see when I'm there?

Canadian Rams Fan since Tony Guillory blocked Donnie Anderson's punt in December 1967,
Been lurking for a while reading some wise posts here at ROD. I posted at the old Post Disgrace's Ram Stalk, and then at Real Rams Fans for many years....and most recently Rams Fans United....which is Number One with me right now. I posted at Original Herd for a while....but too many Hallway Monitors there for my liking.

Anyhoo, I live in Vancouver BC. Ex-Canadian Military. Right-Winger. Pro-American Canadian here who understands why Trump won, and hopes America can come together and forget all the Left-Right confrontational stuff. Abraham Lincoln had a insightful line:

"A house divided against itself cannot stand!"

Long time no see. Last time we were together was in a taxi ride to the Ed stadium. Welcome.

Thanks fellas for the warm ROD welcome!!

Been following the horns for a long time.....through TWO Wilderness Decades actually:shocking:

But, it looks like we've got a pretty promising future coming up thanks to McVay and Snead eh!!:rolllaugh:

Look forward to posting with you guys again...really! :yess:

A big welcome to my favorite Rams fan of all time. You are the only man to have ever worn a tastvein to a Rams game. Everyone else thought you were the king of bling. (I knew better). Thanks to you, I am one of the very few in the U.S. to have ever experienced the fermented fruits of the Oakanagan.

A tastevin epitomizes your ability to understand the color, clarity, and quality of each NFL game played by the men wearing horns.

One day I hope you can contrast/compare the trades and draft picks of the last decade vs the moves made in the Don Klosterman era.

I'm glad you are here.
