Rd 1, pick 19, Rams Select EDGE/DL Jared Verse

As a group we just aren't used to 1et rounders, the excitement was lower due to Verse being a slam dunk. Very high floor guy with very low risk.
Now the darling will start to come and go and today will have that usual ROD energy.

That works for me. If Carolina wasn't a shitty team this last year Justin Fields would still be the Bears QB and they'd be finishing the rebuild around him they couldn't afford to while he was there. Considering he was in the Top 3 in most QB categories and Top 6 in the others feel pretty confident with anything.

Running QB theory and CJ Stroud says hi and wants to cuddle and discuss those opinions :horns::cool:

Belicheat can go to Sams Club and stock up on those Bag of Dicks and munch on them for the rest of his life.

I don't give one rats ass what anyone says, that POS for sure cheated that first SB of theirs ( SB36). And I'd say this even if was another team he was playing to.

If that POS Goddell was a puss politician playing Commissioner and " protecting the shield" he wouldn't be anything near to being " the greatest coach ever".

I think we end up with a WR and RB on day two, to go along with a DL.

Defensive starters right now:

Young/Draft pick/Brown/Turner/Verse
Jones/Rozeboom
White/Williams/Durant or Lake
Curl/Lake or Yeast

We have depth at Edge/ILB/CB/S already locked in, even though fans prefer the shiny new unproven rookies to guys who have been here and developed.

Some here may not love it, but I wouldn't be shocked if the rest of the draft skews toward the offense now.
 
The biggest separator for me is his attitude and relentlessness, which is a cut above many of the others in the class. I like that the Rams continue to add guys who love the game and really compete. I expect our Rams to zero in on more guys like Verse who really compete. Heart and attitude really separated Donald from the pack. I would rather have a defense full of good athletes that are relentless competitors than the flashy freakish athletic types who run hot and cold (Note: Add freakish athelte with a superior attidue and you get Doanld).

I would love for the rams to grab his teammate Fiske in the second.

Agree ... also liked hearing that Kobie Turner already reached-out to Verse; and Verse mentioned it.

I think the Rams have a lot of "The Right Type of Guys" on Defense ... just hope they also have the Talent.
