Best case would be a 5th rounder. But I think a 6th is more likely

This would be a bad year to move him given this draft class.

5th at best. Likely a 6th OR Kyren and a 6th for a 5th.

At first I was thinking at least a 4th.

Over the past two NFL seasons (2023 and 2024), the leading running backs in total rushing yards are:

1. Derrick Henry: 3,088 yards
2. Saquon Barkley: 2,967 yards
3. Kyren Williams: 2,443 yards
4. Bijan Robinson: 2,432 yards
5. James Cook: 2,122 yards

The problem is you got to pay him after 2025.

So, yeah teams may not want to give up much.

With $5M due in 2025, I think we just keep him on that contract.

A RB who just averaged 4.1 yards per carry with a fumbling issue entering the final year of his rookie contract during the same time the NFL draft is expected to have the best RB draft class in years.

Not much.
During an offseason with a draft that has RB as one of it's strongest position groups.

With a RB draft class as loaded as ever and with Aaron Jones, Najee Harris, Jalen Warren and others that are free agents, why would KW have any trade value.

5th at best. Likely a 6th OR Kyren and a 6th for a 5th.
So the Rams get a 5th but would likely have to spend a 2nd (only available with a trade) to improve on KWill. Unless he’s asking for more than $8m per year I say resign him 3yr/$24m with $12m guaranteed.

What if his replacement is Corum and a Day 2 pick even WITH Kyren would be a big improvement?

Yeah, his value would be lowered with so many options in the draft.

However, it is unlikely to draft a first year RB that is a good runner and outstanding pass blocker like Kyren is……..which is why the Rams should just keep him.

Just let KW play out his last year of contract in 2025 and let him leave in FA (maybe getting a late round comp pick). All the while increasing Corums usage along with a 4-6th round 2025 draft pick.

Because that’s more than likely not the case
You don’t move Kyren unless you have his replacement.
And that’s not a maybe, it’s when it’s definite
I get it that people are pissed about his crucial fumble, but ignoring all the great things he’s done is just silly

I could get on board with trading KWill but only if they drafted one of the following:
Jeanty - Boise St
Hampton - UNC
Judkins/Henderson - Ohio St
K Johnson -Iowa
Skatterbo - AZ St
Gotta have a very good RB Corp. And it will require a R1 (Jeanty) or R2/early R3 pick.

KW should be resigned but at a team friendly price as Corum is waiting in the wing. He didnt get the opportunity to show his skill set enough in 2024 but hes a stud and better than a 6th or 7th RD pick than Williams was....again just my opinum.

Add to that we could see 30 RB drafted this year and as many as 6 in the first 2 rounds potentially.

Your POINT ?? The Rams drafted Blake Corum last year. Of course you need depth.

We can go back and look at Rams history??? There are a few ways of looking at it.

I know my thoughts & they weren’t and haven’t always been what The Rams have done.Your the Nig Draftnk now a days.

Well like OldSchool showed how many RB’s are coming out.The Rams (Les Snead) has always done fairly well with RB’s from even his early days.Don’t think The Rams need to go that route though ???

My whole thing though from the start has been different than the direction The Rams have gone in a lot of ways. Gurley was a heck of a pick. I wouldn’t have traded to move up to draft Jared Goff either.

Trading for Stafford when The Rams could have done well in 2020 ? There’s so much there, but right now I’d say if The Rams could lock Kyren Williams up at a good price then do so. — I still wonder how good he really is ? IMO The Rams need a 2 back system, but that is still a hard call ??? It’s above my pay grade.

WTH kind of shit you smoking tonight? The point is pretty obvious. They may not extend KW and I'm all for them not extending him because this draft is fucking loaded at RB.
