I get the reservations when it comes to Jeffrey but at the same time I don't see how those same reservations don't apply to Pryor. He's gonna get bank for 1 year of production. 140 targets and barely got 1000 yards.
Yikes
I go back and forth on Britt, this week I'd take him back if his number is reasonable...
Dude i get you on Jefferey but I really do think Pryor can play. He is one of those athletic guys you recruit in college that works in just about any hole you plug him into. I really do think at the very least he'll be an average WR to more than likely good reliable WR. Maybe not great. I also don't hold the targets against him. Have you not seen the shit that he had throwing to him? Crazy, high, and wide throws by his circus of QB's was a part of all that overblown target stat. He was a decent QB for Oakland to!

Like I said, I have reservations.
Goff needs legit weapons and not someone who's still on the low end of the learning curve
For the money this cat is going to be commanding, I'd need more than 1 year of production. And yeah I actually watch quite a bit of the Browns this year and the dude was their primary target on seemingly every down. I don't find the targets to be over rated, 140 targets is a whole lot.
But you said it best, at the very least he'll be an average WR to more than likely good reliable WR.
For 10-12 mill per year that wont cut it

If Stills gets 11 per year after posting a slightly average year, in terms of production, then we're freaked once we have to resign AD
My thoughts exactly but that's the rumor

Good really don't want the Rams to get back in to over paying for FA and regretting it when they aren't producing. Garcon would be great, Woods I could take or leave Austin has to step up and earn his salary and someone from the younguns from last year needs to make the jump. Add a player in the draft and fix the oline. It can't all happen in a year when they don't even have a 1st round pick.

Before I looked at sporttrac I guesstimated he was worth about 9 million a year and upon looking at the estimated amount they have him about 8.9 which isn't two horrible considering his production with what McVay is probably going to do to transform the offense.
http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cleveland-browns/terrelle-pryor-8570/market-value/
Also Pryor did have 140 targets but only a 2.9% of drops with four out of those which isn't horrible by any means.

I am with you though, I am open to anything with getting Goff reliable targets and protection to generate production. I'm tired of half assing the offense and seriously doubt we will be doing that anymore with McVay.

All this will be a mute point either way I'm thinking since it's almost certain we go with Garcone and a cheaper option at WR for our #2 guy.

So when Jeffrey ends up in San Fran we get to face him one time per year. Great.
Since he never plays a full season, it wont be twice a year....

No surprise. They gave the Alshon money to Trumaine. Doesn't sit well with me, but there's no guarantee he'd be interested in playing here anyways. He's a great WR who deserves to get paid. Wish the Rams were the team paying him.

I hope he doesn't end up in San Francisco, for our sake and his.

The way things are going he would be the QB and #1 WR
Lol
Don't see why a team would ever be publicly out on a player, just doesn't make any sense

Yeah, I don't know why, but I have this weird feeling that Alshon will be a bust if he moves teams... Not because he's not talented enough to produce (he is) but for other spooky reasons like: injuries, suspensions, discontentment...

Anyway, more of a suspicion than an intelligent analysis, but relieved the Rams won't be throwing money at him.

I underestimated Jeffery when he came out in the draft, and I'm not going to do it again. I thought he'd be a real nice fit, but he's going to be looking for top wideout money and if the Rams are planning on letting Tru play on that tag, well, there ain't enough cashish to go around.

All that aside I have been wondering whether the market for Jeffery would be as big as everyone expects. The dude does have that suspension plus the injuries, so it's not like he's a slam dunk or anything; teams have to have some reservations with him, maybe enough to affect that bottom line more than he thinks.

And if that's the case I wonder whether the Rams would jump in on him. I would hope so, but meh.

They need to bring in 2 receivers and let Britt walk
When Britt rolled that golf cart on Hard Knocks, and then Fisher yukked up the story in the team meeting, was when I really started losing faith in our regime. Just seemed like a big fat training camp party every year and we all know how we started (and finished) the season.
I definitely do not want Britt to be leading any young receivers we have or might bring in, that's for sure.
