I am definitely not an expert. Just an engineer, but I have seen broken rib injuries affect people when they breath, laugh, just about everything they do. Even with pain killers. Maybe AD had pain killers but standing on the sidelines his demeaner didn't look like broken ribs. But truth is I am just hoping.
That's what I was thinking. There's almost nothing that allows you to feel comfortable with cracked ribs. Hell... Even bruised ribs kill when you breath or cough. Granted AD is a baaaaad man but he just didn't look uncomfortable enough for it to be a serious rib injury. I'm going to guess it was more akin to a severe body blow in boxing.

Saw that as well yesterday. He looked pretty chipper for a dude with ribs. Kupp looked worse, but I've now heard he may be ok. Can't confirm it. Let's go Bears ........

He's bad, but he's still human. Whether he plays or not, I doubt seriously that he will be able to extend, twist and exert himself at maximum level. Hopefully he'll have enough to still attract double coverage, if so, that'll help.

Love it over there right now. Suprisingly most think we were just the better team and kicked there ass and werent making excuses for the loss, well beside there shitty coaching but thats understandable.
Yeah, it was fun reading over their comments on various platforms.

For some reason, this comment stood out for me (from their Reddit sub):

Based on what? I will wait to see exactly what the injury was before I think he will be limited next week.

The old liver shot....sort of where he landed on Wussle Wilson’s birthing hips actually.

Well......
That was freaking delicious.
Tough gritty win.
Game balls.....

The DL....everyone contributed and played balls out the entire game.
AD looks happier when one of the other guys gets a sack than when he does.

The rest of the D.
LBs dropped into coverage with good depth all day. Really had the D prepared and they played with discipline.
Williams with a pic six.
Staley seems to really have Wilson’s number.

Akers....huge game with plenty of tough physical running.

Evans....dude looks freaking solid at LG. Moved people in the running game.

Whitworth....amazing he was back and played very very well.

Goff....gritty Goff.
He is a tough guy it turns out. Only completed 7 passes and the O still struggled but made some big throws when needed.

Ekuban and Kiser....teamed up for a big fumble recovery for the special teams.

Liver or kidney shots hurt like hell.

When I had that renal infarct, I was already on percocet for a kidney stone in the other kidney and the pain was so intense, it didn't so much hurt as nearly make me pass out. And that was loaded on Perc.

The fact that he walked off the field only shows what a beast he is.

That’s crazy.
I know I’ve seen professional boxers....who make their living getting punched.....stiffing up and go down writhing. Takes a while for them to recover too.
Your experience sounds freaking terrible.

Nice, who do you have your eye on? Would they be available in the 2nd round? I'm not a draft guy lol We are in a bind with Boom becoming a FA with out really knowing what we have yet. Maybe we could resign him on the cheap?

I haven't started evaluating yet. I wait until after we've been eliminated from contention to do that.

Seattle fans claiming that they have the all-22 so can assure us WILSON is the problem. HAHA sound familiar?

Yeah, Wilson... inconsistent, can't read the field, holds the ball too long, takes too many sacks, misses open receivers, except when throwing to the other team, falls apart under pressure, plays like he's afraid of the defensive linemen. Can't see over the line of scrimmage and since he's a midget probably has small hands causing fumbles.

And Seattle give him that big contract?
