Our DL handled the shitters OL last game. And since that game our defense is better vs the run. Outside of that Eagles game where our front got rolled, they have done a really nice job overall. There wasn't shit for the Bills on the ground.

I expect the shitters backfield to be under fire all game long. Our front is going to beat them in the trenches. SF will score some points because our secondary is shitty, but I don't expect them to be putting up more than say 21 or so.

Rams are about to show up big on Thursday night. Bank it. :fistbump1:

I'm more nervous about this one than I was with Buffalo. Probably because I never expected to beat the Bills and this one is winnable. If we win this one then I think we're on our way. A loss doesn't mean its over. Win the next 3 and we're likely in. But it would make things a lot tighter and puts the shitters back in the mix. Something I don't want.

It has been said that teams take on the personality of their HC. McVay is a guy who puts a great deal of emphasis on facing adversity and responding to a challenge. I think it’s safe to say his Rams have responded in that way many times over the years.

Unfortunately (IMO) I don’t think McVay is a HC who preaches hard enough about capitalizing on the opponents mistakes in game…or taking advantage of inferior opponents in preparation.

I feel like his teams come up big when the chips are down, yet tend to fall flat when a big opportunity presents itself.

His team controls its own destiny to get in now.

This isn’t the mighty Niners anymore. Shanny can put his nextdoor neighbors kid in there at RB and prob get 5 yds/carry.

McVay’s team is healthy and rolling on offense. I absolutely believe a loss would be yet another one step forward, two steps back stamp on this season.

I’m concerned over this game. Change my mind.
The 49er offense looked like they found their groove against the Bears. So yeah, we should be concerned. But so should they. A close game would be our advantage. 5 of their 6 wins were not close games. Seems like when they get involved in a close game they come up on the losing end most times. They're a team when things are going good they excel. When things start getting tight they have trouble.

I would trust Stafford more than Purdy in the final minutes. In our 7 wins only the Vikings were won by more than one score. And it was one score till the safety. Seems like we're better in close games than they are.

I will admit this is not must-win. But if we lose to SF then both of us are 7-7. Whereas if we beat SF they're up shit creek in trying to get into the playoffs.

Not to mention I cannot stand losing to those fucks. So for me this is a game we gotta have.

Need to find a way to win this game. That will put pressure on the Hags against the Pack. If we fall 2 games behind , we would need help and also have to win out. Just win.

Hopefully this will be the nail in rat faces career in SF
Doubt they would actually consider canning him. If they did I guarantee you teams looking for a coach would have him at the top of their wish list. Funny thing, there are a lot of fans on their board who don't want him anymore. I'd laugh if they ended up with a Chip Kelly or Tomsula type coach.

Tough matchup but I do think the Rams win it.

The 49ers just got humiliated by the Bills, which not unsurprisingly, might have woken them up. Hard to tell I guess, with Chicago being such a mess (I still think our loss to the Bears, if we miss the playoffs, will be the reason why - injuries and all). But the 49ers' lineup still has lots of talent, even if aging and past its prime, and they will be at home. They are getting bodies back even if still banged up. Shanahan is a run game genius. Look at how any RB in his system goes nuclear. The Rams often struggle to defend the run - look at what Barkley did to us - so it is no surprise San Fran is always a hard matchup for us stylistically. Rams are coming off a short week and an emotional win. We also have some injuries of our own now apparently coming away from that Bills upset. This will be a tall task. We need Stafford and McVay, in particular, to play lights-out again.

Hell no they're not, we bout to put down like a fat lady falling down a flight of stairs!
