The original post mentioned being better under pressure, to which I stated against that. Nobody is saying it’s just him. I like Jimmy G. I wanted him when the pats were moving on…but he’s not better than Goff. Goff has gone pass for pass with some of the best. Jimmy G has to have the right situation. There’s nothing wrong with that.

Around the league he is known as a solid backup QB.. As a Ram though he is a backup.

Maybe you still butt hurt from him beating The Rams and going to the Superbowl,or your fantasy Ram is still Jared Goff.There both losers of the Playoffs.
Maybe it’s he was a Raider or won a Superbowl with NE.The lather for me would be that he wins a Super Bowl with the Rams as a backup like in NE.

I don't think Crapola is much better under pressure. I remember the 2021 pass to end the championship game. That was a horrible decision by Crapola.

Note - I probably shouldn't call him crapola anymore since he is a Ram now but that 49er stink is really hard to wash off.

At least he didn`t scream "OMG" when he saw AD coming for him.

It’s really not even close. I would argue that basically every QB has to be in the right situation. There’s two guys right now that could thrive with no help and no structure. Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson.

I’m still blown away by the disrespect given to Goff. 35k yards and 222 TDs with multiple playoff wins and a Super Bowl appearance. Yet he’s treated like he’s Brock Osweiler.

Goff is heads and tails a better QB than he was when he left us AND his elite oline plays a role in that too.

Guy is now a more pure drop back passer and consistently seems to get to answers later in the down then he ever did with the Rams and from what other people have said the Lions offense offers him more answers than McVay's did (don't come for me with pitchforks! - McVay's offense is great and has answers to what the defense throws at you but the menu isn't as varied from what I hear).
