That's another thing that might hurt us especially early in the season.

The rookies are not conditioned yet to play a full game so we may see some 4th qtr lapses from both the offense and defense early in the season.

Yeah, I think this will be something that bites us numerous times this year and also at the end of the year when they're all gassed.

I don't recall any of our intrepid Rams Training Camp reporters discussing temperatures, although much of the L.A. metro area has been dealing with some pretty extreme summertime heat. I don't know if this a factor for our many out of state rookie or 2'nd year players, but I don't remember any media outlets suggesting Rams players appearing out-of-shape when camp first opened.

More defense than offense. Won't be any rookies on offense except Avila. I'm not even sure the d will have any rookies starting. More second year players.

Yea all this talk of the number of rookies is funny to me. Every team is going to cut 37 players. Most of ours will be rookies while other teams will cut less rookies.

Our final 53 will likely see 13-15 rookies which will just be a few more than your average team, and a lot of them won't play at all.

I could see Puka playing a lot and Tomlinson Turner and Young on defense

I bet we see a lot of rotation with the defense this year

McVay had no idea the severity of Kupp's injury at the time. When he talks about it its like its no big deal to him. Either its because he knows its a minor one. Or he knows it won't matter this year because its a lost year. I hope its the former.

Is AD actually not in attendance to camp yet? Heading there today and looking forward to it!

But we'll also probably have the most 2nd-year and 3rd-year guys on top of that, especially starting.

I said early on that this year will show how good or not the Ram coaching staff is. They have the raw talent, how well the finished product is will depend upon how good the coaching is. This seems like a very capable bunch of coaches. I like Wendell and I liked what Pleasant did under Phillips. When the Rams surprise the NFL this year I hope the only coach they lose is Morris. This team suffered as much from coaching attrition as anything else. I think LaFluer is a good addition, as are Pleasant and Wendell. Those three could have a huge impact on this season.

I didn't see AD on Tuesday, but he has participated on other days. AD said in a press conference that the OL is sliding protections to him and using double/triple teams to block him. I'll be heading to UCI around 2:00 in hopes of getting there before the line gets too long.

Yeah, was thinking of heading that way at about 2. Up in Long Beach though so at least 30 mins there

I'm heading out at 2:30, park in handicap. Will be sitting in handicap section in either endzone or north stands, depending on where TV screens are set up for 11 on 11.

First things first though, VetRamFan and I have to have our Inaugural beer in the endzone. Ramball and Flatlyner you guys need to join us.
