Guys, can we not argue about this shit?

Akers is no longer on the Rams. He quit on the team. He was a big disappointment of a second-round pick, and I'm glad we got something for him before this happened.

But we can also be sympathetic that he got another bad injury that could end his career. There are not many people I want to see get both Achilles' torn in the span of three years, and Akers isn't one of them. Zac Stacy, definitely...but unless Akers beats his girlfriend or child, I don't want to see him get hurt.

Caring what he thinks vs caring what people I have known for many years on a message board think are two different things. Your post for example I felt, and you're probably right that I was over the line. But it's how I feel. There's a lot of players I don't give two fucks about, and he's one of them. The guy turned his back on the team when we needed him and I'm not a pity party participant, just not wired that way.

But I've cluttered up this thread enough with this drama. Will admit I regret saying what I really think in this forum but that doesn't really make any difference for those who are so shocked and dismayed by what an asshole I apparently am. So this will be my last post on Cam Akers or his injury.
