I agree re: Dedich, and Limmer needs to stay at C.
But Avila... on some of these runs that hit the pile for 0 yds, especially at the end of the 4th when we're trying to chew up clock, I think Avila makes the difference.
Glad to have Dedich backing him up, but man I can't wait for Av to get back.
Not looking forward to whatever way we try to accommodate our high-priced F/A J.Jax. I'd kinda like to keep him on the bench tbh.
Limmer has played solid football, but I'd have a hard time keeping Jackson or Avila on the bench. Those dudes can get after it. The question is when Jackson returns. If it's not until late in the year, you might not want to disrupt the chemistry.

We seem to struggle more than most teams at running on 3rd and 1, 4th and 1, when teams know it is coming. Unless Kyren works magic it seems to fail. The Vikings stopped us today a few times in those situations and Vegas stopped us several times. More beef up front would help. I think both Avila and Jackson go back in when they are healthy. Never hurts to have quality depth in Dedich and Limmer, and if the starters don't play well, they won't hold their job for long.

BY ain't no slouch. We have 2 legit OLBs there. And some good interior DL. The secondary ain't bad either. Growing together.
Byron is legit too, no doubt!
They are both looking great imo but they have different games.
What I meant was 8s presence is felt in between snaps too... he's a bully out there, but in exactly the right kind of way.

Now let’s add Jamin Davis (or another low cost option) to further improve ILB. I saw Speights look a little lost at first. Did anyone noticed how he settled in?

He had some tackles and looked a little lost in coverage at times. But honestly he's a rookie and I expect that. I want to see how he plays once he gets comfortable which I already know will be better than Reeder.

Hummel also looked lost on coverage plays. But they're young and the vikings are a good team so I expect that'll get better too.

You guys watching the after game watching Nikki Glazer? Some lame ass jokes.
