Kupps biggest year was with Staff in 2021 when Woods was injured/ignored the entire season, Holt and Bruce had each other the majority of their career and still put up more yards between the two than Kupp had with Woods, aside from their rookie year. Kupp has also only been healthy 2 full seasons. Bruce, Holt then Kupp for me.

I miss Hawaii bad. Spent 7 years there and the 3 on the windward side were incredible. Almost bought a house out there from a friend that had the canal access behind it. Ended up passing on it because wasn't sure I'd get orders there and it would have been tight on the budget, but that was a poor call because that same house is worth well over a million now.

True.

And he dropped that football against the Seahawks that cost us that game. I was a little butthurt for a while about that! Lol

But Kupp has by far made up for those few rookie mistake games.

Love that dude!
Disagree on it being a drop. It wasn’t out of the realm of possibilities to be a catch for someone like Kupp but it would have been one hell of a catch.

It’s difficult to rank the Rams great receivers. Holt and Bruce had each other so it was difficult on defenses. They also were in the pass happy Martz offense for several years.

Kupp really hasn’t had the same level of receiver opposite him. Woods isn’t Ike or Holt.

Ellard was excellent on a run first offense in the run first league. Whose to say he couldn’t put up Holt numbers if he was on the GSOT. Same with Flipper Anderson.

I finally secured myself a PHAT real Puka shell necklace from back in The 808.

Hopefully it will bring some luck to our new Samoan WR. If not, the necklace is fucking sweet anyway.

Here's my dad selling them as a side hustle on the beach back in 1973 at Fort DeRussy (Waikiki for those not familiar).
Puka shell necklaces were really popular back then.

That would have been an incredible catch if he held on

It would have been! The one I was more hurt about was that last series on 4th down to move into a new set of downs pushing that end zone to tie or win it.

Simple pitch and catch and he dropped it to turn over the downs and end the game.

That was one but very difficult even though it was possible. Was the end of game one I was talking about.

Useless fact for you Selassie, I got married on the beach in Maui. No sign of any Puka jewellery though.

Really hope they beef Skow up to be a Hback/TE

I’m a parking ticket scofflaw in Maui. Never paid the one I got during my honeymoon in 1993.

Ahh - every time someone mentions the Kupp drop against Seattle, they mention that particular play.

My bad for assuming that was the play.
