Nah...it was a 90 point difference on the Jimmy Johnson trade chart which is the typical one used.

39 (510 points) for 52 (380 points) + 155 (30.4) + '25 2nd (190)

510 points for 600.4 points. A 15% premium.
Yes obviously the Jimmy Johnson chart.

Regardless if you increase the Carolina picks value it’s still a crazy unbalanced trade.

You add 15% on the Carolina pick , sure let’s do it.

Carolina #39 600
LA#52. -380
Subtotal. 120
LA 5th -30
Subtotal 90
Minus LA ‘25
2nd pick 64 -270
Total. -180 negative
It’s not only a 90 point difference, basically another 3rd round pick we gave them.

The Rich Hill chart is the more current one.

The rams strategy since mcsnead have combined heads is the rams use draft picks like currency. And the rams have an overabundance of currency this year with the compensatory picks etc. So far the results have been Lombardi trophy worthy
I agree totally but when you go buy a car do you take the first offer to buy the car they give you? If you can still get the car with better terms why the hell wouldn’t you do that?

That's not how they calculate future picks. Typically, they are discounted a full round. So next year's 2nd is counted as pick #16 of this year (#80)

Who gives a fuck about the trade chart prices and numbers lol, the Rams traded up for an absolute DAWG and dude they loved.

Which obviously I was pissed because I wanted my guy DeJean, but also now love it because they got a fucking monster who Maxx Crosby approves up and the Rams love.

WE ABOUT TO BE MEAN AS F ON DEFENSE!

Getting the Baldy seal of approval on these two picks also means something. We’re doing good tonight.

I'm saying why I'm fine with the Fiske pick. Love the kid's motor, love the explosive first step. Honestly reminds me of Bryan Breese. I'm more than happy with the Fiske pick, hell, even the trade-up. They had to, considering the drop-off of the DT class after him, and they only gave up one premium pick to move spots. They still have both thirds this year and both next year.
AGREE !!! Thanks for the YouTube.

You can see The Rams watching Jared Verse & only to see Fiske chasing WB’s & Stuffing The Run.

He is a pencil in Day 1 guy who is basically a Late(early 2nd) 1st rd pick . I’m excited & couldn’t ask for more so far !!!

Those who want to draft a FG Kicker - forget about IT!! A punt & KR guy(wr) would be nice.

Looking for N. Watson or hopefully Payton Wilson. Would trade up again for home Right Now !!

WOW - I thought you liked him & WHAT FIT he is going 2B!!!!

To each there own,but if you look at the BIG PICTURE ?? You’d probably see it different, but those doubters.

I’ll just say Greg Gaines x3
You obviously have a reading comprehension problem.

My biggest issue is what they gave up in draft capital for Fiske.

He played 1 year at FSU and showed decent growth at that level. He’s a little older and at least one scout said he has an injury history. Also evaluated as a rotation 3 technique.

Rams wanted him so welcome to the ramily, hopefully he turns into a solid anchor in the middle.

You're just making me love the trade more by complaining!

Don't worry about the damned price we added a big play maker at an incredible need spot. This guy along with Verse makes our front 7 amazingly good :D

We have 4 guys that are all similar people and play the same way. Best part is the glue in the middle of Ernest Jones leading them and a pretty veteran and improved secondary with White and Williams. This defense is looking very good. The only thing I'm upset about and it's a small thing is that we should have put this talent around Aaron Donald. How fucking crazy would this D be around AD99?

Agh fuck what am I doing?

I can be crying and bitching about draft picks when I watch us dismantle San Franshitsco next year!! :laugh3:

Orhorhoro and Sweat went off the board. Fiske was probably the last remaining DT in that starter tier on McSnead’s board. DT is a big hole due to AD retirement. So we had to overpay a bit to get a quality DT. Im glad we did.
