No early CBS game in Philly because Eagles are on at 1pm on Fox... dumb NFL rules stipulate that... of course who would watch the 1pm AFC game with the hometown team on the other channel I guess.

is that really the rule? could of swore ive seen 1pm cbs games when eagles are on, but maybe im remembering wrong

It was always the rule, but it might have changed. They did relax some of those tv rules a few years ago.

I think in the past if a doubleheader was on the other network, they would black out the game opposite the home teams timeslot. Idea was so home market would have to watch and or attend the home game to see football.

I think they did change that a few years ago. In the opener this year though it seems CBS does not have the national doubleheader since it is a 4:05 start, so obviously they would not show their one game at 1pm opposite the Eagles game in Philly.

In LA, Fox is showing Seahawks at packers at the same time of colts at rams on cbs. Thought there was a rule against this?

There's no early CBS game, so my assumption is that's why. Might be something that happens when the Rams or the Chargers get slotted a primetime game.

I live in southern Wisconsin and I just checked.. I get the Rams game locally as well!

Looks like I get seahags @ cheeseheads

I get Jaguars/Texans and shitchickens/Packers.

But listings only show 2? I thought either CBS or FOX gets double headers every other week i.e., 3 full games weekly? WTF?
