Those stats are from Quick in his third year, Marquez in his rookie year. Marquez has also been mentioned by Fish to have "HOF" talent when it comes to special teams. He also reminds me a lot of Bailey, not played much but he catchest 95% of what's thrown his way. So you got Marquez who can play 2 positions and Quick who can show up every so often.
Let's look at it this way...Quick as a rookie had 11 catches for 156 yards. Also Quick is a bigger target and a better blocker and breaks tackles better.

Ask Gurley who he rather see downfield blocking.

I've heard both Ventura County products, WR Nelson Spruce and CB Troy Hill, will survive Rams' cut to 53 Saturday.

I'm stunned! I have been quietly wanting Troy Hill in a huge way

Thanks for posting that coach den....

True, but I think we can use harkey, kendricks and higbee for blocking if need be. Quick has never lived up to his potential, he's never been that T.O snisher thought he could be. Marquez has exceeded expectations IMO.

Either way brother, we shall see who wins the spot soon enough.

I think they only keep 6. McRoberts or Marquez end up on PS. But I like your thinking on this post.

Yeah but we might be without Cooper and/or Spruce, two "locks", for a couple of games. We might keep seven WR's.

No way Marquez gets stashed on the PS. He's a special team ace.

I'm pleased too thought he outplayed both Sensabaugh & Joyner in preseason albeit he was not going against the ones.

Same here and all in with Troy Hill.... very pleased and thought he earned it. Love that he's a 2nd year player that worked on his craft after getting some some reps as a pro last season. He had some high praise coming out of Oregon and his tackling fears seem to have vanished in one off-season. He could've kicked Joyner or Roberson off the 53. I wish someone had a full updated list on one post.

How reliable is this guy?

Hoping this is true!!!

He was a big relocation story guy, he would get a lot of flack from fans, but he turned out to be correct on most things... For a while the Carson team was (without him knowing) feeding false information to him that he would report on, but after he figured that out he was pretty much spot on with everything.. Obviously wanted to become an insider and I think he has.. Now he's split between the Rams and covering the Raiders to Vegas. I trust his sources, he's gearing up to be the LA JT.
