The 2024 LA RAMS are not a perfect team. But if they do not get a bunch of injuries, they are a very young team and should not go through that well................................ they are going to PUMMEL, beat into the ground a lot of teams.
No one is going to want to play us.
We now have a true road grader O line, particularly in the middle. The lbs of beef there is astounding and they are not just big, they can play at a high level, proven.
And we now have 2 stud RBs that just so happen to be fantastic at those up the middle, tough runs in traffic.
Just imagine Matt Stafford taking almost every snap with the defense having this very, very slight hesitation, not knowing run-pass ? And let him do what he does with talented receivers who can all catch and all know how to get open. With the best offensive mind in the NFL running the show. (Coach, please do not get cute at the goal line after running it down their throats to get there!)

We are going to see opposing defenses with their hands on their knees in the 2nd half. Sick of eating helmets, shoulder and knee pads with a occasional stiff arm to their face masks for their troubles. Stafford with time and choices, pick your poison deal.
A rested, fresh defense frothing at the mouth with bad ass youngsters wanting to prove themselves.
Last year if our RB does not go down we do not go through that losing stretch. The Detroit playoff game could have been here. And it might have been us playing the Niners and then going after Mahomes.
And this team will be better in all aspects. (No AD will be a problem but IMO the total defense will be better)
The 2024 Rams just so happens to be the perfect recipe to keep the ball from Mahomes. Who can't do a thing if he does not have the ball.
Life is good.

I'd be ok with 3-2. I see a possibility of a win streak after the bye. If we start 3-2 we could possibly be 8-2 after ten games. I also see 4 more wins in the last 7. 14-3 would likely mean winning the division and possibly a first round bye.

But I think we'd have to beat Detroit to make that a reality. Home opener in their stadium with a loud, fired up fan base. It'll be tough. One thing that might play in our favor is that they experienced that just a few months ago. They'll have a better idea how to deal with it this time.

Lions in Detroit week 1 is tough.

Agree it will be tough, but Stafford hurt his thumb early in playoff game.
And after all the Detroit trash talk about Stafford after the game,
I'm guessing there is going to be a major chip on many Ram
shoulders. This will be a mission game for Stafford and Co.

If I'm not mistaken McVay is 6-1 in week 1

So we got that going for us;)

I can’t help but wonder if the Rams were truly pursuing Mike Evans in FA - what is their Plan B (before/by the trade deadline).

What do you see heading into the bye?

I could see: L, W, L, W, W

I could see better than that, too.

Not sure I am ready to buy into Caleb Williams, but who knows with Chicago? Could be a tough road game.

I think the 49’ers could collapse if certain chips fall. Wish we had them later than week 3.

I don’t see an unwinnable game on that schedule. None of those teams make me think the Rams don’t have a good chance of beating them.

Maybe in part it’s that I don’t see any juggernauts in the league this year.

Plan B was trying to acquire Courtland Sutton. They clearly wanted a big red zone threat.

However, if Davis Allen can progress enough with his development, maybe it’s possible that the tall possession receiver with great hands and wingspan is already on the roster.

They delt with it just fine. The refs let everything go. Hard to deal with that. I don't expect that this time. Well, I just don't expect the NFL to care if Detroit looses that game. I don't expect the Refs to worry about calling a PI to keep the rams game winning drive alive.
