doesn't matter in practice. Did you see AD hit anybody in the head with helmets during the season?
no but he has been kicked out of games during the regular season in his career correct? I get your point about it's only practice but a player like Akers who acted so unprofessional last year to the point that the team tried to trade him, I have to wonder if he can't control his emotions. Akers needs to start acting like an adult and think before he reacts. He isn't going to play in preseason so these reps against the Raiders are very important. That's my opinion your's may be different.

With how bad our offensive line is looking thus far I suppose we can expect dink and dunk backyard football plays? I’m nervous hoping we can gel it before the season…

but we haven't seen the starting Oline play yet, so it's a little early to say how good or bad they've looked. I do have say I'm starting to get nervous after listening to Jourdan's podcast about the Oline.

I've seen him lose his cool and also.put his hands on people's throats, whats your point?
Not when the game was on the line. I haven't seen him choke anyone. My point is, practice is different. Thats why things like the helmet incident happens. No real repercussions. Not for the team anyway. I also have not seen Akers ever lose it in a game. I don't think it is anything to worry about.

I saw Akers talking to.player that was knocked out cold, even if he didn't know Bubba was out, it made the Rams look bad. I stand by my opinion that he needs the reps and he needs to be smarter about the choices he makes.

Are they having a second day of practice with them? Because that might get ugly.

Akers response was funny but my guess is if McVay doesn’t want them fighting in practice, he definitely doesn’t want them joking about it after fighting and getting kicked out of practice.

Meh. I doubt he lets that bother him much. He's not much older than them so I'm guessing he has a different tolerance than old school coaches.

I, for one don't mind Akers fighting back. Yes, Crosby does that shit to bait other players. It's mid August and these players ain't about that bullshit in the dog days. It's why all joint practices get "chippy".

Nope. It’s live journalism. It’s not different from compiling those same notes into a later article.
If you believe some schmoe with a handful of Twitter followers and no football experience is akin to a professional journalist (if such things even exist anymore) then we have very different perceptions of the world.

Looking at the Raiders depth chart, they will cut some decent DL guys. The Rams should pick up a DL off waivers from somewhere and here they have two days to look at a team with depth on their DL.
