QBs don't have good days when their line gets beat the way Minnesota's was beat. Darnold still had a fine season and one he can build on.

What he should do is sign a reasonable deal for a good team, vice the most he can. That way they have resources for weapons and defense.

I wouldn’t mind him as a backup but he might find a starting job for a needy team

We just saved Darnold's next team a LOT of salary cap relief. If he is that bad throwing to some total studs at WR, he's going to struggle on a bad team.
