Who cares tho? Every team has the same kind of hype. Nothing wrong with being positive about a player actually improving.

Agreed. I don't know if he does this with everyone, but it seemed like Morris made it a point to push him. Give him some tough love, dog him in practice, but then tell him "good job" and "I'm proud of you".

A lot care because that was a bum ass pick compared to a All Pro player on a rookie contract. Let me know when Tavon Austin Jr gets more than 50 career yards receiving or Can actually field balls on special teams full time.

Classic Raheem Morris. He knows who he can mess with for the response he needed.
That injury against the Bears 2 years ago sucked.He was just starting to get a lot of game reps.
Last set he was never the same,but had some sort of another injury?
He is a Utah guy who Eric Weedle really liked coming out.Mcvay knew about him & I think the Rams got a steal.He is a do it all DB.
I keep thinking Rapp gets traded ?

Well my guess is Shelton is going to be a swing man if not the starter.I think The Rams only keep 9 at some point,depending on who they want to protect. AJ Jackson was a guy they could keep on the 53.
The new Say expanded practice squad rule makes it easier to bring in special team players week in & week out.Plus teams will focus more on there own roster rather than claim a player because of a void.
I like this rule,but it really benefits young Offensive lineman.Especially since the changing of the KR/PR return rules the O’Lineman would be there first to go in a lot of cases.

I must recall how it went for the Rams OL in 2020 when the Rams started an UNDER 300-pound who was primarily a center @ RG. After that Austin Blythe was not offered a contract went to KC & was a reserve, now he is in Seattle and signed an Econo low-cost reserve contract.

Snead loves to take OT's & insert them in @ OG. Carberry's RG post really needs to have a much stronger & overall bigger body type than what is demanded @ center. I am sure that Shelton can be a very good center but only an average season-long starting RG.

You have to think @ this time that the 6-2/314 Anchrum who is entering his 3rd Ram season is by far the better starting prospect for this upcoming 2022 season that will be the toughest schedule in the NFL.

The newly arriving future starter Logan Bruss is sure to be active & placed on ready if there is a need @ RG. Bruss needs a heavy amount of preparation involving his massive hand (near 11 inches) placements along with a serious increase in hand punching power before he is ready....by the way Bruss played last season @ 6-5 316 lbs.

Thursday’s workout was the third of the Rams’ six days of OTAs and the second open to reporters. Running back Darrell Henderson and wide receiver Van Jefferson were among players not on a field on either open day. McVay said Monday that Henderson had “a little soft-tissue thing.” Henderson was on IR with a knee injury last season. … McVay said he’s being “a little more patient with the offseason approach” because the Rams played through mid-February. The Rams are using eight of the nine weeks allowed for spring workouts.

We’ll I’ll disagree again. Especially if your talking about 2020 vs. 2019

J.Brown was also suppose to be the starting RG after 2018 & Austin Blythe helped The Rams make it to The SuperBowl as the Starting RG.

I was not a fan of him being a starter & pissed John Sullivan was let go.Would have been ok if at least they signed a FA Guard to replace Saffold.

I was ok with Noteboom playing LG.I know everyone can point to how his play was at LG.Still under the right circumstances he would have been alright. Plus as you say Les Snead loves drafting Tackles to Play guard.

I don’t know what’s best right now. OTA’s is just the start of the 2022 season.

I still like Blythe & if The Rams drafted HUMPHRIES then maybe Austin Blythe starts at Center for KC?

He became a sieve up the middle of late.I think Noteboom is the better player & might have replaced him if Midseason !! He has played well at times , but he won’t help The Rams get to the SuperBowl next season if not replaced.

This was interesting on the status of punts;

“In the last two practices open to media, the Rams have rotated punters and punt returners during special teams drills. Riley Dixon, the veteran punter signed to a one-year deal this spring, and Cameron Dicker, a UDFA signee who also has place-kicking experience, have traded off reps while at returner, Brandon Powell and Atwell have split snaps. Powell also got some run in the offense Thursday.”

This report talks a lot about Tutu Atwell and his positive progress but I can’t help being concerned that

‘He is still small and he is still incredibly fast. He doesn’t look like he has put on the weight that the Rams wanted to see him add going back to his rookie offseason’
