Two heads are better than one, and a team of heads is even better?

Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean. (but too many drops and you get cut)?

The slogan is a reflection of his belief system which effects his personal decisions. I don't know how some of you guys are acting like that's overanalyzing when it's a very surface level take on how Mcvay's new priorities reflect in how he coaches.

If the original slogan was ‘we then me’, he still probably would have pulled too many all-nighters his first few years. The slogan did not ‘lead’ him to making those decisions. He needed years of experience to figure out his work-life balance.
