I wouldn't mind him in, say, the second round, if McVay was really into him. But with #26? Absolutely no fucking way I'd be on board with that.
Not much difference between picks 26 and 40 or 50. Not in this draft at least. So if you like a player and don't want to lose him... you take him when you can. Especially at such an important position for the future of this organization. Again, if they really like a player.

Right. This draft's incredibly fluid. Honestly, I'd say there's very few true blue-chippers and a lot of guys who could go anywhere from #15 to #50. Personally, I'd rather just trade down - even if it's a bit out of the first round - and let the board come to me, but I'm not McSnead, and I won't claim to know what they're thinking.

I dont see the Rams taking a QB early in this draft. Chances are Stafford is going to play 2 more years maybe more. They could draft a higher caliber QB next draft and sit him behind Stafford for at least 1 season. If Stafford retires after this season Jimmy G is still an option and draft a better QB than is available this draft.

Yes, don't y'all remember Wolford? McVay was gushing about QB mobility. He definitely wants an athletic QB. I don't know if Milroe is the QB he wants, but he'd love to have that added dimension.
Which makes the rumor that he loves McCord less likely to be true.

I believe the window to win another super bowl is wide open. IMO, that #26 pick should go to upgrade a position that is needed to make the Rams a top tier contender. Milroe looks like a good prospect but not sure if a #1 pick is worth it this season when we are already set at QB, plus our backup.

In the third round, maybe. No earlier.
They can’t be thinking much earlier for any of these guys, can they? Maybe if they get someone to trade with them and they move back into the 2nd.
Could the Rams be trying to artificially recreate a scene similar to last year’s draft whereby there is a run on QBs—pushing top prospects down into Ram territory?

And Perkins? And how he used Wentz?
