Is there even a rb worth a 1st in this draft??

There really isn't. Jacobs is considered a top 35 talent, so it wouldn't be a shock to see him go in the first. Henderson has a tremendous skill set to pair with a back like Gurley, but using a first seems like a reach. Sanders has moved up a lot since his combine performance, has elite athleticism, and may profile as the best all around back now.

I still think a trade down makes a ton of sense and a RB could be a top player on their board in that situation. It's not what I would prefer, but if the Rams go RB with their first pick, there must be a reason.

If the Rams need a future RB they are better off waiting until the 2020 draft. There might be 7 or 8 that are better than the ones in this year's draft class

I could see a RB/TE/WR added to the offensive arsenal AFTER taking care of the DL and OL in the first and third rounds. Maybe as early as their R3.99 pick if a highly rated RB/TE/WR fell to them.

Not gonna happen.

Colossally stupid from a football standpoint.

And would create a public relations nightmare.

Other than that, it’s a great idea.

Well if there is actually a residue of truth in them drafting a RB early then obviously its uh-oh time regarding Gurley

I sure hope not

If the Rams FO believed it was “uh oh time” with Gurley, I can’t imagine they would have ignored the chance to spend a little more on a vet RB in free agency. Why wait until the draft to fill such a glaring need, and count on a rookie to pick up the protections, etc.?

This rumor just doesn’t make sense.

Not sure whether it’s “uh oh time” or not, but the Rams moves in FA tell me they trust that they can count on Gurley to carry most of the workload.

I do think we pick more offense than people are expecting. Thinking Parris Campbell or Jalen Hurd later as a hybrid RB/WR
