It blows my mind that the Rams can't throw against 8 and 9 defenders crowding the line of scrimmage. I just can't understand it.

Waiting for Goff to get thrown in there is like Chinese water drop torture.

I didn't read but it sounds like they're saying that they're going to start doing their job.

Case Keenum is listed as 6-feet, 1-inch in stature. That is pretty short for an NFL QB who has to see over or around DT's who are 6-feet, 2-inches to 6-feet, 6-inches or DE's who measure 6-feet, 4-inches to 6-feet, 8-inches. Keep in mind that some of these defenders will go airborne to block passes when Case is trying to deliver. Case does not have Saint's QB Drew Brees' ability to glide around defenders to buy extra time. Although he can scramble, he is not particularly fast and will be run down from behind by many defenders.

We need a relatively tall statured QB who can make quick decisions, deliver the rock accurately and in a hurry with the proper touch. We didn't sell the farm for Jared for nothing. Fish can see better than we can that Case's height, poor pocket mobility, inaccurate passing, and relatively weak arm is negatively affecting the running game. I believe they plan to insert Jared as soon as he is ready to roll, probably with a limited playbook that may be biased towards shotgun passing until he gets more comfortable with the conventional NFL under-the-center approach.

what the hell are you talking about ..we CAN and DO throw against 8-9 men in the box ....i mean ok granted its 5 yards behind the line scrimmage and we drop it ,,,but we throw it dammit ;)

Basically he'll continue to see those things and he'll gain the experience and learn, just vision-wise. 'Hey, this looks good. But there's somebody standing in that hole. I may have to squeeze it through here, pop out the other side.'

Is he saying that Gurley's RB vision needs developing? I thought he did ok last season? I'm not sure it's fair to blame him for not seeing the holes...

Dead last in passing yards per game, YPA, QB Rating, QBR, Total First Downs, Third Down Conversion %, Completion % etc etc....no wonder we can't get the running game going. This offense is seriously flawed and as long as Keenum is at the helm, Gurley will struggle a lot!

Better QB play and better offensive play calling = beast mode Gurley!

Talk is cheap.

The play calling can help this a ton also.
There this one. Boras needs to get his shit together and stop being so fucking predictable. Last week in the stands about 6 or 7 of us were predicting... " run, run, screen punt" or " run, screen, 5 yard hitch or curl, punt"
I hope last week was a wake up call for him because as soon as we started messing up on what was being run next we started gaining yardage and first downs. let's go Boras! :D
