I think we all expected it but I must admit I'm still a little stunned

LOL they didn't wait at all. I thought they might wait and do a lower deal but, I might have been the only one.

Rams getting money/cap to reload the defense. Should be interesting and hopefully fun to watch what Snead and Company do.

Why is Schefty surprised by the Barron release?

They couldn’t even trade him for a 7th, for crying out loud!

I’ll say this. I continue to admire and respect how the Rams are willing to prune their overpaid and/or underperforming vets.

Sends a great message to the other players on the roster.

Improved in the last quarter like most of the defense but still a liability in this defense. Just doesn't fit. I'm looking forward to seeing what Les has in store for us this offseason. Guy makes it entertaining at least.

It’s a thrill ride nowadays to follow the Rams during football season.

And now the offseason is fun too. So amazing to watch the FO make decisions and think either “yeah that makes sense” or “hot damn!”

Who are these guys?!?! For a decade they could do no right, and now they can do no wrong...

Wishing Mr Barron the best he was a steal for a 4th and 6th (I think that was the deal) and made an immediate impact. He made some huge plays, Seattle etc... He is a bit of a tweener and not a great fit in our 3 - 4. If he is healthy and gets back in the right system he will be a great addition for the team that grabs him. GL MB

We were trying to run a 3-4 with 4-3 personnel, and Barron was a large Safety trying to play 4-3 LB, and was even more out of place in the 3-4. You need some big beef in there to stop the run in the 3-4.
