This is really an exciting time of the year. New players that I think we all believe is a pretty good list, the young players that stepped up big last season, a pretty damn good veteran roster... It's a fun time.

Nothing against you @methomas50 but I could care less what these sideline reporters think and any other yahoo they scrounged up.

Some type of lane ass HOF voting system.

I listened to a lot of post draft coverage and the consensus seemed to be that the Rams had a good draft, but quite a few people think we overpaid big time in the 2nd round to move up for Fiske. Even guys who have been really complimentary of the Rams over the past year, like Nate Tice and Robert Mays, thought we gave up too much for Fiske.

I am of the mind that there are many intangibles that determine what a good pick is. Not all of them are measured by these draft pick widgets...
For instance - if they did not trade up for Fiske - who they getting? Hard to say of course, but you could then have 2 picks, where neither are as good as Fiske will be. Secondly, getting both Verse and Fiske is some kind of chemistry, right there. You can buy that, or put a marker on it!
Maybe it doesn't work out - we'll see.
I for one am all in on the Rams strategy. :giggle:

Pittsburgh should have 4 more Superbowl's with all these drafts they supposedly win.
Pitt is infuriating. Tomlin is one of the best coaches in the league. Their front office can scout like no others. But the blind spots. You could drive a truck through the blind spots in this organization, both coach and front office.

Yeah honestly it all comes down to if he turns out to be a good player. If he does, it was easily worth it. If he doesn’t, what the hell were we thinking? A results based business it is.

Don't you mean the ravens?

Too bad they're qb is Lamar Jackson and will be for the next decade.
