Rams Claim DB Darius Williams off Waivers - Roster now at 53

Rams awarded DB Darious Williams who was waived by Baltimore. After releasing Aaron Neary from their PS on Saturday the Rams have re-signed him to their PS today.

He's more of a slot CB (5'9" 187), but he's super athletic (4.44 40, 39" Vert, and 6.84 3CD). I recall Ravens fans being excited about him during the preseason and camp. I'm thinking he's depth behind NRC. He was a PFF favorite last year at UAB (second highest coverage grade in CFB and a 34.6 Passer Rating when targeted). Had 15 PDs and 5 picks.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Smart cut to add another receiver to the active roster.

Also wondering if JoJo had a setback with his hand and they're giving Countess a closer look to return kicks full time.

This is really good news.
It means I really like him which means he has backup potential.
If he was marginal, they would have been more likely to ditch him when they had the chance.
 
Evan Boehm was signed off our PS by the Colts.

Or it means they didn't see anybody else out there and just kept a guy who's familiar with the offense.
