It's actually the 4th time we eclipsed 40 rush attempts....we had 41 vs Arizona in wk 16 of 2018, another win.

But why "eclipse" 40? Why not just hit 40? We've done that 7 times under McVay (7-0). Including the one above and the 3 Grisak mentioned, we ran 40 times vs Arizona in week 7 of 2017 (40-197 2 TD), 40 vs Dallas in week 1 of 2020 (40-153 2 TD) and 40 @Seattle in week 1 of 2023 (40-92, 3 TDs). The offense put up an average of 33.5 PPG in those 7 games. It's easy to say, run 40 times and you win but we all know sometimes you get to 40 because you're winning.

We don't need to run 40 times to beat SF. Balance. We ran 26 times and passed 26 times in week 3.

Anxiously awaiting a Media Fallout thread. I need to see the media heads explain themselves on this one! Go Rams!
Larry Brown Sports is already publishing click bait smear on Have’s false start that went uncalled.

Interesting how they are absolutely silent on terrible calls favoring the Bills such as the Young roughing the passer, Verse horse collar tackle, no hold call against Curl, the defensive PI on Williams in the end zone, offensive PI against Robinson, etc.

I also would have flagged our DB for PI when he grabbed the back pad. That was enough to slow down and create a restriction.

TL;DR: Officiating was disappointing, Bills had a couple more calls in their favor.

What a damn game! Love seeing our offense explode like we all knew it could!

Major positives to:
-the OL's pass blocking as they kept Stafford upright for most of the game and didn't allow a sack
- To our WR core for playing their asses off
- To Stafford for balling out play after play.
- To Kyren and Blake, they got a bit more then what was blocked for them and battled

Concerning:
- Our run blocking wasn't wonderful this game. Many stuffs which isn't all on the line especially when the D is entirely in the box.
- Our pass rush. It was non existent today and had been a major strength of our team. Was their OL that dominating or did we just not have it?
- Our secondary. No need to elaborate.
- Byron Young. Some awful decisions and didn't really make up for them.

Had we played D slightly better, we blow these guys out. Hope they can improve in the concerning areas for Thursday and curb stomp the whiners into mediocrity that will continue for the next 10 years.

On October 20th.... Rams were 1 - 4
Who had the RAMS winning 10 of the last 12 games??? :wow2:

He probably was warned his previous fumbles have made him a designated target and that he needs to double clutch the rock now.
Yeah that...and he was probably warned that we drafted Corum in the 3rd and we're not afraid of using him.

Ya you'd think we'd lost... against a very tough superbowl-bound AFC team...
We knew our D was gonna get lit up, just didn't know if our O could keep up, and we DID, and were up by 2 scores at one point.
This is a tremendous, fantastic win, one that EVERYONE had down as an L, and gives us a bit of wiggle room in case we lose against an upcoming opponent.

Weren't we up by 17 at one point? That is 3 scores!

I hate to give Brady any credit, but he was right. Bills having to take a time out was horrible coaching awareness. Have to believe that will be the blame
Yeah, I hate to admit it but Brady wasn’t actually half bad in this game. He had good insight on the QBs, route running, and game management. The heavy offensive output and elite quarterback play made it the perfect game for him for him to call.

He really was excited and sounded like he was having fun.

Sad Jim Carrey GIF

That blocked punt was a thing of beauty and ended up being the difference in the game. I can't remember the last time I saw the Rams block a punt and return it for a touchdown. Puka is a beast along with Kupp the receiving group with Tutu and D Rob were playing lights out. I would have to say that this was the offensive line's best game of the season. Stafford played lights out and in my opinion was his best game of the season. This game and the game against the Vikings proved the Rams can compete with anyone in the NFL!
2018 against Chargers I think was the last time we returned a blocked punt. Wonder what we did that year!

Puka is a Monster! Loved seeing our Offense go toe to toe with one of the best offenses in the league.
