The NFL has made the prime time schedule better in December.

The league announced today that flexible scheduling has been employed for both Week 13 and Week 14, moving better games into the Sunday Night Football slot than the ones that were previously scheduled.

In Week 13, the Sunday night game on December 2 will now be the Chargers at the Steelers on NBC. The 49ers-Seahawks game that had originally been scheduled for prime time has now been moved to 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.

In Week 14, the Sunday night game on December 9, will now be the Rams at the Bears on NBC. The Pittsburgh Steelers-Raiders game originally scheduled for prime time has now been moved to 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.

The rest of the Week 13 and Week 14 schedules will remain in place.

Man, Rams at Chicago, night game....

Having visions of God Awful Steve Dils stinking up the joint, going like 5 for 30 but connecting with Ron Brown on a long TD and still somehow winning the game

Now, imagine the opposite of that God awful part because they're gonna win.

Two sundays in a row, but I wonder if they flex out our game against Philly. If the Eagles lose a couple more times I could see that happening. That day there is Chiefs/Chargers, Patriots/Steelers, and Packers/Bears they could move in depending on how those teams records are in a few weeks. Two possibly determining the AFC West and NFC North champions depending on how the next month goes.

As long as the eagles are still in position to win their division by the flex deadline I doubt it gets moved. They have a big fan base so it should be a big draw vs a top team

Chargers @ Chiefs is on TNF. The only game I see them flexing is Patriots @ Steelers and I hope not. It’s time for new blood in prime time with Goff/Wents.
