I always thought it was Can’t Understand Normal Thinking. But maybe that’s an American thing.

Guys, it's just the "c" slur. I've been called that all the time.

Speaking of censored words, I'd like to make a formal request to replace "Dan Campbell" with "Captain Caveman", because I think I fucking hate him more than any coach in the NFL save for Belicheat.

I usually love your takes Memento but you're miles out here. Dan Campbell is brilliant. Kyle Shanahan, Asshole Face, Nick Sirianni, John Harbaugh are all way worse for a start.

I hate that Neanderthal shithead and his dirty-as-fuck team.

I've got a guy and his wife (both transplants from the UK) who I see twice a month at work. I like to pick their brains when they come see me. They had a friend with them last time who was over here staying with them for a week. He was on vacation from the UK. We were giving each other shit in a fun back and forth. I told him how I almost never use or say the C word and that's when he told me how they literally say See You Next Tuesday in a sentence when they are in a setting where saying the actual word would be offensive to others. That's some serious shit there lol. They love that word.

That same friend of theirs was telling me how amazed he is that people here honk their horns when driving. He told me that if someone honks their horn over there... fists WILL BE thrown 100%. So when he heard it the first few times here he was actually waiting to see people jumping out of their vehicles to throw down. These are the kind of useless facts that totally entertain my caveman mind.

Beeping the horn is only acceptable when you see a friend and once they look up you either wave at them or sign them off.

I am looking forward to seeing the rams in London. Obviously depending on ticket availability. Wanting to make a day of it. Will it be like previous years, with a "tailgate like" experience before the game? Might as well get as close true game day experience.

Hopefully should be pretty available. The jags home game at wembley is the one I've had the most success with over the years.

Can't wait to see them again, saw them play the Bengals in 2019 and Kupp had an absolute day.

Was at Sofi for the Seahawks last year and was disappointed that most of the starters sat (although I knew it was a possibility), be good to see Puka and Stafford actually play!

For those UK fans attending this game and those US fans thinking about coming across there is a Discord Channel for LA RAMS UK members - a few of them are looking at getting a Corporate Box

Unfortunately I'll be in the middle of the North Sea heading for Norway

The "Tailgate" at Wembley is pretty poor in my experience.

The LA RAMS UK group has been approached by a Bar (Belushis) about hosting a meet up with them - they are close to London Bridge Tube station which runs direct to Wembley - about 35 minutes.
https://belushis.com/london-bridge

NFL UK usually allocate Bars to each visiting team - Rams have in the past been allocated the Barrowboy and Banker, which is in the same area as Belushis

The C word isn't usually a term of endearment over here, unless softened with daft or silly before it, but tw@t definitely can be.

We call our dogs The Tw@t Twins.

And my wife regularly calls me a stupid tw@at.

She also calls me a fucking prick and a loser, so presumably they're terms of endearment too.

Exactly.

It all depends upon your familiarity with the person you're "insulting" AND the tone you use, as well as the situation at that exact moment in time.

For any Americans coming to the UK, my advice would be never to swear to anyone unless you know them well.

On a more serious not ebacsue I'm having ticket anxiety.

Do you have to log in at the exact time the tickets go on sale to have any chance of getting tickets?

I don't want another Taylor Swift fiasco and my wife getting the hump when I fuck it up

Pretty much, yes.

You will be able to buy them on the aftermarket, of course, but at vastly inflated prices.

If you miss out in the first sale there will be a LOT of tickets going up for secodnary sale closer to the date - there is a group on Facebook dedicated to reselling tickets at face value

Marvellous, thanks!

I may hit you up for the link if things don't pan out.

I was looking at driving down, and parking at wembely, so that's a bit of a distance to travel out and back again? Do they really not have places closer to go? I understand that Americans may not get a 35min tube ride/ 10mile being long, but.... i think that's excessive as a 15mile train ride takes 10mins in brum.

Also to add, have UK fans checked current train schedules into london? My earliest train gets me to Wembley at 14.45, with kickoff at 14.30 or arrive a day early.... so I'm driving. And I don't want to be negative but I'm not adding 1hour 10 round trip on tube after 3hours of driving.

I'm only passing on information on what is being planned already.

For previous Rams games at Wembley we've been allocated the Barrowboy and Banker near London Bridge tube station and I co-ordinated with teh Rams VP of Fan Engagement on getting fans there the day before for player and management meet ups .

Unfortunately, I won't be able to get to this game but am still part of the LA RAMS UK admin group.

The area around Wembley is pretty built up now and the "Tail Gate" is a bit sterile to be honest, retail led with no independent set ups.

Obviously there are loads of pubs and bars nearer the Stadium that will be looking to engage fans from all 32 teams on the day
