I don't think the weather or it being a bad day for kicking is an excuse. There is no wind, snow, or rain. "The ball is cold and hard" cannot be an excuse for an NFL kicker to miss a FG from extremely close range, or a PAT. It isn't the first time football is played outdoors in November, December, January... if he missed from any sort of distance, the weather line is more compelling.

Worst part is I watched him kick like a boss at Stanford. Dude was money.

What do we do to kill our kickers’ confidence?
 
Idk what’s more annoying to me at this point, Karty’s misses or that confused face he makes every time he misses, like he’s looking at a field goal post for the first time

The signs were there going back to camp. We just chose to be optimistic but he hasn't strung together any consistency. Not giving up on him moving forward but have no confidence for the remainder of this season
 
This defensive scheme is maddening. Hoecht was literally covering nobody when he dropped into coverage.
