Bruener reportedly put up some big time numbers. Ran a 4.58 40 at the Combine. At his pro day, the agility drills were reported at a 4.14 short shuttle and a three cone in the 6.7s or 6.8s. That's insane for a LB. He's a very instinctive and productive kid whose father (Mark Bruener) played in the NFL for the Steelers and is now a scout with his former team. Carson had a strong year as the play caller in Steve Belichick's defense.

Any guess on where he will go?

His draft profile on multiple sites says special teamer. Late rounder flyer, sure :thumbsup1:.

He is only 227 lbs. Frame does not look all that big. We already have one inside LB who is too light.

Barron

At 6'4", 225 lbs, Barron was a Safety. He is still listed on ESPN and PFF as a Safety. Due to injury to another ILB, he was moved to LB after the season opener this past season. He lead the team in tackles with 93. He had 9.5 tackles for loss and 5 QB hurries.

Maybe the Rams would want to play a lighter ILB/safety that can tackle well as opposed to a traditional inside linebacker. They seem to be looking into some of the lighter/faster ILB types.
