So much BS spin there by the Rams. Goddamn they just shovel it on Jourdan at times.

Brown is a rotational option only. That much is clear by now. Also he is not a NT. They tried him there, he sucked ass. This isn't about him being Albert Einstein, "oh he's so intelligent" blah blah blah. It's about finding a place and usage where he sucks the least. His role will be rotational DL on the non-A gaps.

Turner is quality but he is wasted on the nose because we don't have anyone else who can 5T nearly as well as him. So they can move him around all they want but 5T and generally opposite Fiske is gonna be his spot.

Fiske is a rook and learning. He also is no NT. They won't put him there as he lacks the strength right now. His best spot is 3T or in the duo with Turner on pass downs when they go even front.

Gallimore will be relegated to rotation for now. There is a chance he can take on a more important role, which if it happens means he'll be ahead of Brown in the rotation for non-A gaps.

Davis is the only real option we have at the nose. But we don't have much option behind him. This DL is thin in that respect.

This is a rush DL at the top best served at getting after passers. They could badly use a NT if one were to be available in trade. If not then they need to hope Davis doesn't get hurt. And they shouldn't screw around and use him at other spots because he's the best answer over that center.

Sneak out of the wedding and go to the game! Your friends will understand. :laugh2:
Find my post(s) from February...friends of the family with seven (!) kids scheduled a wedding on SB sunday. The bride had no idea...

I feel your pain but at least since it was the Super Bowl the venue of course agreed to turn the game on for the reception.

I don't get a good feel for this game...BUT...the Rams should take it. Being Chicago born and raised, I want bragging rights over my brothers (none of us live in Chicago now), but they have always been Bear fans. Maybe that's why I don't have a good feel...:laugh3:

What has me concerned is McVay. He can be genius, (like last week)...and then turn around and outsmart himself in this game. If he maintains a good run pass balance I can see Rams 20 - Bears 10.

The Bears have a good defense so you don't want to be too cute with your playcalls but you gotta go to your TEs and you need to run Williams steady!

The Bears have a rookie QB but he's mobile...so the Rams secondary has to be solid and TACKLE!!! Meantime the DLine has to contain but also get to the QB. The Ram secondary can get lost when QB's get scrambling...so getting to the rookie QB Williams is a must.

I don't worry about Stafford except his protection against the Bears. The Bear secondary keeps everything in front...and they can tackle. Even though the Ram OLine is doing pretty well despite injuries, they have to handle the Bears just as they did the 9ers even though the 9ers got 3 sacks.

I worry about McVay...but I like the Rams to win a 24-14 game. Stafford throws for 240 and 2TDs, Williams 1 TD. The Defense gets 3 sacks and two picks...:thumbsup1:

I think I remember that

I still want White on the number 1 receiver. However, I need to watch him on the all 22 to really get a feel for his game.

Remember when Ramsey got a 44 on PFF and he only gave up a 10 yard reception. PFF sucks for CBs.
I didn't watch last weeks game, but that game against the cardinals, I'm not sure what else White could do to defend MHJ on some of those catches. It was either fantastic catches or blown safety assignments that caused most of those big plays that went White's direction.

Alaric Jackson showed up on injury report today with a knee thing. I’m not concerned at all.

Hopefully Stafford is careful with the Bear's secondary and our secondary can cover the Bears WRs. This will not be easy.
