If a team thinks Verse is the next budding star pass-rusher, I'd trade him if we can get a high 1st rounder back in return, I can see that as a very feasible return as he was just taken 19th overall himself and might well win DPROY. But the whiffs are too much. Players that don't wrap up don't tend to change. See: Alec Ogletree.

Don’t care what the McVay apologist think, but again this loss is on him. Rightfully so….
I’m a McVay apologist and I think this game was 100% on McVay. The RZ play calling continues to center around low percentage throws. I don’t understand it.

Also anything longer than 3rd and 8 and he’s running a screen. He doesn’t trust this o line to hold up in protection on obvious passing downs.

I said I wouldn't be surprised if we went winless heading into the bye week. I suppose beating the 49ers to give us the one win of our season is uplifting but this team really looks terrible. Offense, defense - it doesn't matter. Special Teams are the only thing that's kept us in games and that's crazy to say considering how bad special teams has been for years.

No he should of played in the preseason. He may have been better. Why McVay thought sitting Fiske Verse and Corum was a great idea is beyond me…

Then he does something even stupider and calls a 7 step drop, long developing pass play inside our 10 right after we get a strip and force a punt. What could go wrong?
