I have a feeling it was 4 down territory for McVay. If they were committed to 4 downs it makes sense.

Probably wants to insure they stay within one score. If the niners score a TD on this next drive, still a one score game. If they kick a FG, only down 3 instead of needing a TD.

If we're gonna win it will have to be on the defense to keep the score where it is. Just can't believe how much the offense is struggling. 6 points? After last game? Makes me wonder if they relaxed thinking it will come easy. This one is a tossup. The only saving grace is Stafford's history of game winning drives. We'll see if he has it tonight.
