This is a financial decision. They don't have the money to bring everyone back. The Rams are prioritizing who they need.

Reeder is a good player, but they can't afford him. Reeder like some others is a financial number casualty.

Reeder catches a lot of flak from the fans but he isn't that bad. If the Rams have a replacement and a backup better than Reeder for his position, I would like to know who they are before I say good call for this move.

Yeah I agree. He does some things very well. Not good enough for a contender but he's a plus guy as depth.

by saying he isnt "that bad" you are still saying he is bad, and I just want to see someone in that position who isnt bad.

Although I did like his blitzing ability.

I just think Morris was a tad conservative in not allowing Reeder to blitz more in games

I think 3 to 4 blitzes a game and we would be saying Reeder is a decent back-up linebacker.

An above average JAG who gives it his all. Every team needs them for depth but once they get to their second contract it's usually time to move on for teams with good front offices. He flashed at times and had a few strengths but good coaches exploited him and when they did it was ugly. Wish him luck though.

Hope someone makes him a good offer and he can count towards our comp formula. Also hope we get BWags to fill in for the huge hole Reeder is leaving us lol. I think Wags can fill in adequately.

Great description of him.

I don't know that his time with the Rams is over, he could come back on a min deal, but it shouldn't be tough to replace him if they do let him walk.
