I have a hard time seeing this team getting an entirely new system in and being all that competitive in 2017. I'm hoping to see real improvement from some key guys - one key guy in particular.

Well, it's still the best case scenario for us.
Agree. But you know what typically happens. Teams that were supposed to be cake walks on the schedule turn out to be somewhat good and all of a sudden you've got a fight on your hands. I can see the Titans, Jags and Colts being tough games next year despite what happened this year. And who knows what to expect from the Texans. Don't they have the #1 ranked defense this year?

Houston is up there somewhere and will get Watt back. But their QB situation is still problematic.

I think any game will be tough next year if we don't see significant improvement. But it's still better than it could be. We could be playing the AFC West.

Schedule is tough no doubt about it especially with essentially a rookie QB and new offensive scheme and possibily a new defensive scheme too. I'm just hoping for 16 games of playing hard and disciplined we do that we might find ourselves in the playoffs

Why the fuck do we always play Dallas away?

Cool I get to see the Rams here in Dallas get smoked 50-0 with my cowboys buds.

kind of like last time when the Rams came here with Sam Bradford and Jake Long was thrown on his ass by Demarco Ware in route to destroying Bradford.

Some things never change.

I don't like that one. Is the 2018 schedule ready yet?

Even with a new coach and new players I think best case scenario is 9 wins and the most likely scenario is 6/7 wins. The talent just isn't there and it will be hard to retain key pieces and fill holes.

True, but there is always a flip side to that as well. For example, in 2013 we had a road game against Houston, who was coming off of a 12-4 season. Houston stumbled out of the gates in 2013 and never recovered, and the Rams walloped them 38-13. So it goes both ways.
