You say that like it’s some oddity to have that opinion, but people here say the Rams are better than the Saints even though the Saints beat the Rams.

I guess what we learn here is that everyone has an opinion, and not all of them make sense.

Absolutely comical how the Chiefs can be "better" than the Rams, when the Rams beat them, and the Chiefs literally cannot stop anybody, not even the Raiders, from scoring points.

And it may have been arguable that the Saints were better than the Rams, until the Cowboys decimated their offense and beat them.

Detroit took away our offense for most of the game, and we found a way to beat them, by two touchdowns. The best of the best do not lose these scrappy dogfights against upstarts.

Then just leave it at, the Rams are better than the Chiefs because of their record, and leave out that the Rams beat the Chiefs, because who beat who doesn’t really matter in your argument.

I heard that too. Lame rationale was that he does not trust the teams like the Rams, something along the lines of players going rogue and doing their own thing. what a jackwod

This is the only place I watch this stuff. Entertained but, not upset. Still more football before the playoffs. I liked the travel or lack of for the Rams if they wrap up home field throughout the playoffs. It's been exciting so far but, we will be much more as the final quarter gets going.

You know what ? We are not perfect, and McVay, even though I believe he is a genius, has yet to win a playoff game.
Yes, we ended up winning at the Lions and that's what good teams do, but it was also a worrying game for many reasons. I am not offended that some people don't think we are currently the best team despite us having the best record.

Now let's prove them wrong, finish 15-1, get a second straight month in California while half the league is battling up in frozen tundra, and we'll see what's up then.

I never said that the Rams weren’t better than the Saints.

What I said was, if your argument hangs on “we beat ____, so we should be rated higher than them.” Then it’s a bad argument.

It’s like the comment I made in jest last week (Cowboys>Saints>Rams). It doesn’t work like that.

If your going to say the Rams are better than the Chiefs because they beat the Chiefs, then what’s to stop a Saints fan from saying “well, the Saints beat the Rams, so the Saints are better than the Rams.”

Just go with your overall record proving your superiority, and leave that other stuff out of the debate.
