Las Vegas isn't looking like such a great idea now.

I'm happy for that franchise. I'll be rooting for them throughout the playoffs. I think they can make a run. Derek Carr could have been had for a second round pick. I still like Goff though.

I heard Las Vegas would be bad for any team due to the restrictions of players partying in casinos.

Member when we beat them 52-0 and thought we were the franchise headed in the right direction? I member...

The Raiders picked before the us, so we would've had to trade up to get him or selected him in the 1st.

I'm not a Raider fan by any means but its good to see them have success because of all the adversity they have endured over the years with that wack owner they had.

Yup. I've got a friend who's a Raiders fan and has been for ages. It's good to see that team back at it again after over a decade of lackluster football.

We'll be next. I can feel it. Or maybe that's just indigestion. Either way.

.

How does it change the idea of Vegas?

They are still in one of the smallest, oldest, most run down stadiums in the NFL.
They still aren't getting any real public assistance for a new stadium.
The window on Vegas is open now, it may close quickly, which would give them SA (several steps back) as any leverage or a second option...
SD is going to the spot in LA so that isn't a possibility.

If anything it actually gives them a bit more leverage with LV in their negotiations.

Proof that it doesn't take a coach more than 5 years to turn a team around
Also that as bad as the Rams have been, there are teams who have had it worse than us.

It's also interesting because I doubt many people here would have been excited by hiring Jack Del Rio.

Del Rio was a perfect Hire for Oakland. A local Kid, who earned a second shot at Head Coaching due to his work in Denver! And he's done well! Cudo's to him!
