Oh c'mon, that ball on 4th down hit Quick in the hands, twice!

Happy as hell he made up for it with the big TD grab, and I hope it proves to be a needed confidence booster.
 
Wait a minute. You guys want Quick cut at the beginning of the season, but he has got to become a Hall of Famer before you eat crow? He has got to be Alshon Jeffrey before you admit he not only made the squad, but one of the only one producing TDs? Laughable.

If that post was aimed at me remember I said I would eat crow if he started to play like Alshon but I highly doubt it he can play at that level. I would also eat crow if he put up 800 yards and 7 TDs. Sorry that some of us wanted him cut but why not? He sucked up to that point or do you think he was great and he deserved a spot on the team? That would be laughable. I'm not going to get all excited because he's catching the ball or scoring 2 TDs after 4 games. If he starts dominating I will come back post how I was wrong and your right ok. Actually I hope you and Quick prove me 100% wrong because that only helps our team win

I love these threads. A guy doesn't do anything for 5 years in the NFL and has 2 good games and suddenly he's the 2nd coming of Megatron. Lets play out the whole season and see how he does. He's playing against teams 2nd and sometimes 3rd best corners. Once they start rolling coverage his way look for him to disappear. I've seen it before.

I agree totally. This is what he should be doing anyways and not going to go all gaga over Quick for doing his job. If he goes 800 and 7 TDs thats about what ? Average in the NFL? Maybe slightly above average? It's about time after all these years he starts producing like he supposed to. It's like going into your job and expecting to be praised non stop all day for just doing your normal day in and day out stuff.

Don't get me wrong bro I wish every one of our players becomes an elite player. Not going to happen but I can wish. And yes I think Quick has incredible potential but I just think his head is his biggest problem. Not that he's dumb but I think the guy gets down on himself and it gets to him.
 
That's some funny stuff.

Quick has done this before and fallen off the map. And hard to tell people to eat crow when he's, bare minimum, finally just contributing to an O in year 4.

Get back when he makes it through an entire season. And then add in 60 REC at least. And 8TDs. And 1000 yards. Till then. He's just a guy still.

Okay...how is a receiver going to catch a ball, that's not even thrown? He had 1 catch for what, 70 yards for a TD...then wasn't targeted until the 2nd half? Who does that? And it's not like a bunch of stuff was working....We were stuck on 7 points...made no sense...and yeah, I'm blaming Keenum for that. QB doesn't KNOW how to get the ball to the most effective player in the game? What the hell is he starting for again? If they gave him the targets...Same as Lance Kendricks...Britt, Kendricks, and Quick should be the primary targets...esp. early in the down & late in the down...that's on Case...and he's obviously clueless....

Maybe case doesn't trust him on account of the drops or you know maybe he isn't open ...

Most players disappear when they roll coverage. That's when it opens up for other players.. peterson was covering him sometimes.

Austin has the worst hands on the team statistically.
Britt is not bad, although we all know he can drop some easy ones.
Quick has one drop after Sundays game....the diving attempt that was challenged (??!!). 8 catches, 1 drop, 3 TDs. A 12.5% drop rate is bad, a 37% TD rate is great....so, we will just have to see how it plays out.
I love the guy when he was drafted and still think....as we have seen.....he can make some plays and certainly can have some run after catch. Just need to get all three....Britt, Austin and Quick consistently involved.

Yes consistency is the problem. With some consistency yesterday wouldn't have been a close game. Hopefully they all gain some consistency including QB
