Pro Football Reference has a different rushing table, where the games played is more accurate but Derrick Henry has fewer yards:

Games played is scheduled games --in other words, team games played, not individual. They do that so when people look at it they will know if it is updated or not. If one guy played 16 and another 15 ... writers would have to double check so they do it for that reason

--- Pro Football Reference won't update until tomorrow morning--the only reason McCaffery and Williams have the same total is they didn't play today. Derrick Henry had a big day/

The ones I posted are the ones that get updated a few minutes after the game

Speaking of Pro Football Reference, which is my go-to site for accurate stats, was it ever explained why some are saying that Groman had the record in 13 games? I see a 14 game schedule, and in those 2 columns next to the player name it shows GP (games played) and GS (games started). Groman is 14 games and 13 started. Which means he played in 14 even though it shows he didn't start one of them. But then in 1 of the Charger games he has no stats. He had his usual big #s in the games before and after but nothing in that game. If he didn't play it should be 13 and 13. Could be a typo, but if he was even in for a single play then it should be 14. Back then players rarely missed a game with injuries unless a bone was broken (sometimes!). Maybe he missed the flight??

Not trying to diminish Puka's accomplishment at all, I just saw 3 references saying he only played 13 games, and Jourdan was one of them but with no further explanation.

If Puka keeps his head straight.. he's going to be very famous and very rich... in addition to being a very, very successful football player.

That kind of genuine likeability is fucking marketing GOLD.

It will be the mother of all outrages if he doesn't get a shampoo endorsement this offseason.

Move over Troy Polamanu, it's Puka's time now!

Rams in the record books

Rams now have the.....

rushing record by a rookie
receiving yards record by a rookie
receiving catches record by a rookie
running back most rushing yards in a season
player with most receiving yards in a single game
player with most passing yards in a single game
player with most safeties in a single game

there are probably more I'm not thinking of

the Rams have some pretty impressive records

Puka was a 5th rounder. Kyren Was a 5th rounder last year.

The Rams have all their picks for next season and some salary cap to play with. Rams will be SB contenders next season.

I hope and pray that the whiners lose and their window starts to get smaller.
Agreed! I think they are SB contenders this season as well.

Well, Not their 4th but they do have an extra 5th; and will get 3 or 4 comp picks ... probably just 6s and 7s.

turns out Mayfield might net them a 5th because of incentives.

But.. they're in line for 4.. looks like a 5th, 6th and 2 7ths.

We can hope for another 3rd for Raheem... but I'm not holding my breath.

Not from what I remember.
The player comps wait a year for full value evaluation, I think.. the coaches are immediate.

Maybe I’m remembering wrong?
You may be right.

You were right about Tyler Johnson (I thought of you when he caught that TD), so that's good enough for me

I'm far from right about everything, though (didn't think Robinson would have the impact he's had). I just have been a fan of Johnson since his time at Minnesota.
